Such a odd thing to hear about spoken so casually and acceptable. Targets are one thing. However going after individuals and looking up people's personal information, employment and social circles etc just feels unacceptable. Even more so if they are unaware and unknowledgeable in how to protect themselves or the risks.

Any information that people put in the public domain is fair game. It's not like your intruding into personal stuff they want to keep private. After all if they wanted to keep it private, they wouldn't have put it on the internet.

I get where you are coming from, it's the initial reaction to get creeped out,but he kind of addressed it at 23:40 because what you may be are feeling is the uneasiness of it happening to you and the reality is it can/could've happened and you would never really know. The only thing you can do is know it's a possibility and be prepared. And if it helps: if the justification of 'for work' sits ok with you then for the safety of my children far exceeds anything work asks you to do.
