Just to clarify for all those who are confused: Minecraft has officially classified Elder Guardian as a "powerful mob" (mini-boss). The boss version of guardians is the Ancient Guardian which is exclusive to MC Dungeons. All bosses have a boss bar which the Elder Guardian lacks.

Hay sb here is a tip for strongholds: if you press F3, it will tell you what block your looking at so you can tell if the block your looking at is either a normal block or a monster egg
