Disengage costs an action point and lets you move away from an enemy without them getting an attack of opportunity - but a sorcerer's Shocking Grasp cantrip damages an enemy and lets you move away without taking an attack of opportunity too. Which leads me on nicely to a top tip for Jen's character - you do not want to be anywhere near combat with a spellcaster. You want to be a healthy distance behind Laezel and the bear, so you can cast spells safely.
@cosmic_drone8 ай бұрын
Misty step can be cast as a bonus action for repositioning and doesn't provoke AOs as well.
@Aurilla_mebe8 ай бұрын
They both have their uses. Shocking grasp is good, but it can miss. Disengage is safer if you really don't want to get hit.

I'm all caught up! :D (For me, Bing Bong was a week ago) I'm from one of those cultures that anyone who isn't mentally/culturally "normal" was frowned upon, and it has been a struggle discovering ADHD as an adult (along with some other things) and re-learning how to live with them. Then you two and everyone in this community came along and are making me so happy that I have ADHD. It's so much fun and compassionate, and I love it!

11:27 hi guys, as a Brazilian (or any nationality that doesn’t have English as their first language) that’s so sweet! It’s very admirable how considerate u are regards issues we could have! So thank u for that. Aside from that, what a fun stream. I’ve been binge watching vods and playing bg3 for the past weeks, and omg the game is awesome and seeing different perspectives through different playthroughs is so fun!!! Congrats to u and all the team envolved in the making of this amazing game 🥰

Speaking of Shadowheart Bae'zel fan fic, the first origin play through I started after finishing a Tav game was Shadowheart, and I not only of course romanced Bae, But Shadowheart Defeated her in single-romance-combat on my first go, no save scumming. I was so pleased.

Hey ladies! I just wanted to drop a sincere THANK YOU. Thank you for sharing this adventure with us, and thank you for not punishing people who can't tune in live with days/weeks-long wait times before a VOD or KZbin video is available ♥ Thank you for being so real and honest with us all, about ADHD and that, too. It is so, SO incredible to feel that camaraderie and safety.

Big fan of all the Baldur’s gate saga. I played 1 & 2 ages ago, both are some of my favorite games ever. Baldur’s Gate 3 has now joined them right on the top. Such an excellent game. I just wanted to congratulate both of you for your work and being involved on the game, and thanks for all the hard work poured into it. Shadowheart for me has joined Minsc, Jaheria, Aerie and Sarevok as the epic all time memorable characters in this saga. Thanks again, looking forward to your future projects! Also, your streams are fantastic fun! :)

11:13 From what I've heard of "Mum-thara, mother of squirrel dragons" on the vods is that she may be subconsciously unhappy that she had to organise her own birthday, instead of having others organise it for and/or with her. Alas that 'Detect Thoughts', 'Illithid Wisdom', and 'Guidance' is not a real life ability as it could help to better understand the Mum-tharas we love.

These streams have such a cozy vibe which isn't something I've come across a lot here. I really appreciate your openness and authenticity about being yourself with ADHD and being non-heterosexual (Both are things that run in my family, which might actually be why your streams feel very at home to me). Anyways, just wanted to let you know that even though I can't relate personally to the non-heterosexual stuff, I still really appreciate you being open about it - in doing so you also create a space where people can feel comfortable and that is really important. So thank you and keep being you!

Great stream! Again I was only there passively because I was in a DND session yet again 😅. Congrats on getting past Dror Ragzlin! Pro gamers! Also, it was cool to have Kirsty as a guest and here some extra behind the scenes stuff about the game! Lol my favorite part of the stream was 1:34:59 where Aliona asked Jen to laugh at her joke and she Jen did but it was the sort of "idk what you're talking about but ily so I'll pretend I get your joke" laughter, ensuing laughter from Kirsty 😂. Anyways, thank you for the stream and I'm looking forward to the next stream!

@Jen and Aliona Killing Ragzlin first makes Minthara permanently hostile, so you wouldn't be able to knock her out and get her later. That's why you were told to knock her out first. Long resting would revive her. That's why you can't long rest.
@Einomar8 ай бұрын
Yes, they did knock out Minthara before this fight and didn't long rest.
@xenosaga84368 ай бұрын
@@Einomar I know. Jen didn't seem to understand why they did it or why they couldn't long rest.
@Jas75208 ай бұрын
You can long rest fine, Minthara wakes up and stands around but that doesn't matter as long as you don't go in and kill her. All you need is the "defeat all three leaders" quest complete as well as minthara alive.

I know this is a little late now but I missed the live yesterday 😢 due to real life eurgh… lol 😂 but to move everyone into position whilst someone is talking you can change to the other characters and leave the person talking paused in a sort of stasis until you go back to the cut scene which can help you of everything goes wrong in the chat and combat starts early, The only character who can’t move is the one speaking, If you see this hopefully it’s helpful if anything like the Dror fight comes up later in the game, TL:DR Changing to other characters when one character is speaking means you can move them and get into position before finishing the conversation
