I’m not sure if I said this publicly, but for a while I refused to use Anton Chigurh in a villain defeats. I still think he wins in the end (no kidding), but considering he got his arm broken, it represents that he could never use the very thing he uses to kill people ever again. And I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: I’ve done this before, I’ve used villains who win, but also lose in a certain aspect.

In fact, there is a theory that two things happened to Chigurth after the car accident. 1: It is theorized that the cast made with the shirt that the boy gave him broke and he had to quickly return to have it tied again but when he did this the police caught him and trapped him since the ambulance was there when the police were there. also due to the accident 2: After leaving, it is believed that he died because the wounds he had could not be healed because he could not go to the hospital because they would catch him immediately.
