If really like that rotational choke defence. Although under pressure I always revert to the pluck and knee to the groin version; probably because that's one of the first things I ever learnt.

Big mistake. KMI which I ditched too. commercialization of schools which negates Krav principal to evolve. In a street situation...those chokes will just get you in to a fight. Incredible that this bullshit version of Krav is still teached. You said you tried under pressure?!?? Nobody in real life who's aggressive just stands there static like an idiot and chokes a person.

I went to a krav maga class and tried this stuff for myself. From the perspective of the tai chi practitioner, its absolutely hilarious. None of this works if the opponent knows what to do with his feet. Course if he knew what to do with his feet he wouldnt be trying to choke like that anyways, but still, every krav maga hold is full of weaknesses that could be easily exploited by chinese footwork.
