INS Vibhuti was the first missile boat built indigenously in India. It was commissioned into the Indian Navy on 12 October 1961. It was built at Garden Reach Shipbuilders and Engineers (GRSE) in Kolkata. Features INS Vibhuti was one of the most advanced missile boats of its time. It was equipped with the latest radar and weapons systems. It had a displacement of 285 tons and a top speed of 40 knots. It was armed with four 3-inch guns, two 40mm L/60 Bofors guns, and two 21-inch torpedo tubes. It was also capable of carrying 16 anti-ship missile
