It's similar to Meteor so it can be used against fighter too. Nothing until now suggests otherwise. It's length is the same as and diameter are comparable to Mk1 and Mk2 with more denser propellant. And overall weight of 220kg. Ranges between 190-350km based on altitude. It's NEZ will also be 180km. So all our fighters will be able to fire it. Only downside being cost due to Ramjet motor and propellant. STAR missile is a LFRJ missile under development as a supersonic target and it can be modified for the AWACS killer role. Also there was a proposal to develop a A2A BrahMos/BrahMos NG by BrahMos Aerospace for the killer role. It will be similar or better than Chinese PL-17 due to being powered by a Ramjet. That means only a tri pulse AAM and a PL-15 type heavier dual pulse missile are the only A2A missiles still not developed.

F16 has been a dominant plane for more than 40 years, and there are always improvements happening with the avionics, same goes for sukhoi jets, weapons are not donkey production where they are finalized after breeding😂.
