If HAL is unable to deliver at the pace required, parallel Assembly Lines, under Public-Private partnerships should be set up at various locations around the country. We need all our indigenous aircraft in the desired quantity, and in time.

As you keep increasing the production lines, the cost of aircraft also increases, what do you think will happen when all the aircrafts are delivered? The production lines will become idle. Production lines are not setup for free. Only solution for this is to increase the number of aircrafts ordered, which is not being done. Even IAF is aware of the pace of aircraft delivery for mk1A, that's why the end time for the delivery is 2029.

Its search range is 400 km and can track a 5m2 enemy as long as 200km. And engage with them at a range of 140 km for 5m2 but its r77 cant engage enemies before 90-95 kms as its max range is 100-105km. And the RCS of sukhois is 5-6 m2 in a clean conf.(without any weapons).this is the reason why all of the pakistani fighters went thier airspace safely on 27th feb.

But no production capacity besides the Su75 is low cost stealth fighters and hourly cost is predicted to be lower than AMCA also the AMCA stealth MK1 will only start production testing by 2030 and series production by 2035 that's why SU75 can be a fit if IAF budget allows Nite that SU30MKI initial batch will start retiring by 2040 so between 2035 - 2040 IAF prototype to replace those should be on the drawing boards and initial flight of that new jet 2040-2043 and production start by 2045

Yeah, I agree. Egypt did it too. In Egypt's war game, Sukhoi and Russia were embarrassed. If Su-35 lost, then not completely but some hope for the Su-30 MKI is lost, the MKI's different anyway, equipped with western options too. : ) Tejas will perform neutral, and is independent but supports the team west. The Mirage 2000UPG will be in team west, against the Mig-29UPG of team Russia. MiG-21 shall be excluded from this. Jaguar shall not participate too, having a different responsibility. This is my expectation.

We can say for self ego satisfaction that the MIG 21 is equal to or more superior than Thunder. But mind you the 21 air frame is performing beyond its life time. You will have to speed up production of Tejas and first replace all 21. 89 years still take an excuse to put young pilots life at risk is unthinkable. The political power should come fwd start giving licence to mfr the Tejas to various pvt players. 6 aircrafts by hal and other 6 by pvt partners. This way we can at least replace. Note even IOC standard Tejas is far better than fielding migs. Wake up now

One on one fight me Mig 21 bison JF 17 ko shoot kar sakta hai may be agar favorable circumstances ban jaye but that won’t make it “better” block I me bhi turbo fan engine hai jo turbojet se better hai, single axis hi sahi fly by wire hai , SD 10 agar R77 se better nahi to worse to bilkul nahi hai. Agar one on one fight me circumstantial basis pe defat karne ko “better” maan lo to J-10C bhi Rafel se better ho sakta hai.

15:44 being unbiased mig 21 is a 2nd gen design and as you yourself say that an airframe has certain limits . for e.g. mig 21 when turning acts like an airbrake thus losing speed quickly a 2nd gen cant compete with 4th gen design . maybe jf17 block 1 will not totally dominate the battle ground but it will still be in major favor of the jf17 . the f4 phantom was able to defeat mig 21s in dogfights sometimes and there is a picture demonstrating turn radius of f16 and f4 its very famous and jf17 has nearly the same turn rate .
