I was a flight engineer on an ac130 SPECTRE gunship. what you see is real The Burp is the chain gun the hammer sounds are the 150 mm main gun. Oil tanks don't shoot back thus low level threats which will be taken care after the immediate threats are eliminated Just curious as to what base this was. Doesn't seem to be any air defense

First target should have been the destroyer. Any ship in port during wartime has CIC manned and ready to rock. C130 would never get into range.

Exactly what I was thinking, there had to have been an EMP that disabled the ships long enough for the C-130 to get that close.

Why are they not taking out Aviation resources sooner? Destroy them on the ground and then not have to be concerned about then becoming airborne threars?

I would think the order of targets would be helicopters first, missiles second, ships third, fuel tanks forth, people fifth. Leave the dock crane intact. We'll use it when we move into the port.

THIS IS WHY we absolutely MUST HAVE air superiority/ air supremacy. This gunship is at once the most destructive, and at the same time the most surgical weapon I have ever seen, and we have FIFTY (50) of them. It’s like having a dozen A10 Thunderbolts loitering around at the same time. The AC130 is very vulnerable to air attacks from fighter jets, and from SAMs, and it’s why we eliminate any chance of that at the beginning of each campaign. This gunship has served up an army company of infantrymens worth of death and destruction each time I’ve watched it. No wonder our enemies fight from caves.

Yes, it all begins with air superiority!!!! Anti-aircraft missiles are the biggest threat, followed by enemy fighter aircraft. Once those are gone, any other anti-aircraft weapons. Once those are neutralized we can hold the beer for the AC-130s. You're rignt. Their ability to lay in precision fire and destroy anything they want... is amazing.

Is this real or a video game. Hard to tell anymore. I can't see Isis or other terrorists group having an elaborate naval base. They are Tent city military. I think this is a video game meant to fool so many like other vids on here.

They can't shoot back. At this rate, we can probably use them and the crane when we take over the port. I was curious why they didn't take out the helicopters first, on the theory they could come up after the AC-130.

ATTACKING THE OIL TANKS WOULD HAVE CREATED MUCH MORE KAOS, CONFUSION, AND UNCERTAINTY AMONG THE HALF-ASSED ENEMIES HA. WITH THE OIL TANKS ON FIRE THEY WOULD RUN FOR COVER WHILE WE CONTINUED TO ATTACK AND BOMB MORE IMPORTANT TARGETS! IT'S A GREAT ADVANTAGE FOR US
