Your patience and playing the leveling ground finding your spot in the midst of all this madness with all these guys together. My hats off to you brother, I mean really it is. I would've blew my lid with all this shit with Dux 🤣🤣 All these other guys too. It's just one big pissing contest of so much mixed opinions and trying to find the real truth behind it all. I really hope one day we find out what's really happening with all these guys for real. Thank you for your patience and perseverance to keep digging to actually find out what the fuck really happened with all these guys. May Jean Claude bless you with his presence one day on your channel. Keep it up man! Much love and respect 💯

I’m half German, and half Hong Kong descedentant, my Dad knew Mr. Dux at that time, personally the last things i remember about that topic with my Dad before he passed away was something like, “Son, i don’t really understand why so many folks hate Mr. Dux, but this story is 100% factual, i was there, i was there” - that’s enough to me.

It's really interesting how Sky Benson's memory of the footage is in line with what Dux says about his fights. There was THE Kumite, like a normal tournament, but that's not hundreds of fights. There's all these little fights that they would record for posterity, less gambling and more skill sharing, sizing each other up and setting who gets to go on.

@@treadstoned9915 Yup. The material is all out there. Matthew Polly's brilliant book "Bruce Lee: A life" goes into so much detail. The "Kung Fu Genius" Alexander Richter is also a brilliant source of information about Bruce and Ip Man. Viking Samurai just needs to get in there unpack it all.... before Joe Rogan does.

It is easy to accuse someone without evidence; a lack (or little) evidence of something, is not in itself evidence. Carl Sagan said, “Absence of evidence is not evidence of absence”. However, Sagan also said, “Extraordinary claims, require extraordinary evidence”. From what I’ve seen, Frank is offering up more evidence than his accusers. Time will only tell.

He claimed 56 knockouts in a row. In matches that last on average...in his own words...18-30 seconds. Matches which was "decisive, very east to see the winner". Mike Tyson's fastest knockout was Marvis Frazier in 30 seconds. Who were these bad asses that were such amazing fighters they earned the distinction of being invited to such a prestigious fight to only last 18 seconds? Truman Capote? Pee Wee Herman? Gary Coleman? Or are these people who didn't move around, didn't try and find range, didn't block and just went toe to toe? Or, as most people would call them: REALLY BAD FIGHTERS And what is particularly weird about this statistic? Frank's own claim that on the first day the fight is conducted on a 12x12 foot platform which is there "to allow circular movement". Maybe he just hit their head all the time? Oh wait, no! He said in the Black belt article you have to work the body to save your hands hurting. It says in the original article if you want to fight in the kumite your instructor MUST be a member of the I.F.A.A. a secret organisation, which would mean his opponents were drawn from a very small pool of people. How could these people possibly be considered the best of the best? Oh, and how was Frank's teacher in November 1975 who was in the kumite? Not the teacher he now claims is someone who died in L.A. during Sepember 1975. Maybe he was allowed special discompensation for that year, but according to Frank's website, he continues to fight in kumite matches until 1980. When asked why anyone would put themselves through the big dangerous event, he said it was a test of one man's style over anothers...in 18-30 seconds bouts...as any fight trainer will tell you, 30 seconds fights is all you need to learn to be a better fighter. Oh wait...no...they say the opposite. OK, so let's assume he wasn't fighting a High School Girls netball team and they were actually grown men, we're told they didn't use names and it was all secret. That part of this was about saving face, and part of it was keeping people's techniques secret....but they gave Frank movies of the fights. Because, obviously, nothing says 'let's keep this anonymous' than sharing the film footage. Film footage that today he says is scarce, but also claimed there were 16 cameras recording in the original Black Belt magazine article. Then of course, to keep it extra specially secret the secret organisation make a 2 foot trophy for Frank. One he now claims was a gag made just for him. That's a funny gag, because if we wind back to the original Black Belt magazine he said 'the trophy is never really the property of the winner, and it's value makes it worth keeping in a secure place'. Was he referring to the 'comedy value'? Clearly he kept it very safe, by leaving it in his school overnight where the dumbest criminals ignored this valuable trophy in favour of his old home recoded VHS tapes. Anyone who has had a break in knows they'll take your TV and your VHS, but they don't in the process say "let's take the time to gather up these all personally recorded VHS tapes too!". Oh, we're sure Frank will try to claim they were stolen because the thieves knew what was on them, but then why would they leave a trophy they knew was 'valuable'...? Then there is the footage which "might be him, he can't tell, and AI says it is". Well, this is easy. It's a big event. It has sponsorship. It has a big audience.This is not one of his top secret anonymous events organised by his girlfriend who you wouldn't know because she lived in Canada, it's a public one. It was also after 1980, wikipedia says so according to Frank, and according to the records on his website (300 1978, 329 1980), he wasn't doing that much fighting in the twilight of his career. So all he has to do is name the non-top secret 'nobody saw' tournaments he won at the end of his career, and then we can narrow it down. Also, as DragonDon points out, if the fights were secret to avoid people seeing techniques, how does Frank not recognise his own techniques on film? That's before we get to those records which apparently were measured using 100 FPS cameras. Some of those records are entirely possible to calculate from camera frames, because they are meaningless. A slow punch starting from a smaller distance away would register as quicker than a quick punch from further away. Therefore, it's not the "fastest recorded punch", it's the punch with the least time travelled from start to end. There is also the problem that at 100fps, if a round lasted more than 2.5 minutes, they'd have to stop the fight to change the films in all the cameras. 1000 feet of film gives about 11 minute recording at 24 fps. It does not record for long at 100fps. Although, according to Frank, these people don't know how to duck, block, or fight from range. So this may not be a problem as long as we are prepared to make the assumption the people at this tournament couldn't actually fight. But the near impossible one is the kick record. Or to quote Black Belt magazine "fastest recorded hook-kick (72 MPH)". You can work out how quick a punch was thrown from start to end by using film, but to know miles per hour, you need to know speed and distance. That means clever geometry to work out from where they were stood, relative size, how much distance was covered. That means looking at different films from different angles. But now here is the hardest part. He claimed it was the fastest recorded 'Hook kick'. That is what he says in Black Belt magazine. That's not a single velocity. The leg doesn't go in a single direction on a hook kick. How many of the people on the National Geographic doc. tried to measure their hook kick? If they did, the accelerometer would have recorded the fastest point the leg was moving, because there would be acceleration and deceleration. To get this right using 100fps cameras, you would need to calculate the distance on every frame. Assuming the world record wasn't just for hook kicks, that means more calculations for every kick in this tournament. It would take so long and involve so much effort, it wouldn't get close to being financially viable. Take 1975 film viewing technology, four 100 fps flims that you have to match up, and then do all the maths to work out the distance for every kick, and see how long it takes to get those numbers from one fight...it's logistically ridiculous. Then there are the number of fights. "We can work it that way" says Frank. How about he describes how it actually went down, not talk about how it's possible to do it differently. Were the Lightweights and Middleweights he referred to in the Black Belt magazine article fighting over the same 3 days? Perhaps then we can get down to how many mats there were and how many cameras per-mat, and ultimately how many fighters had how many fights over those days. That's before we get down to the top secret final day held out in the open on a roof... I respect VikingSamurai's argument for having Frank on. Frank coming up in conversation on this channel, and people are being negative about him. It's proper to give him a right of reply. I also respect the argument that there is no point in being combatative with him when he comes on. But there is nothing to respect in suggesting that there is some truth in the story of the kumite. None of it makes sense, and the bits that come close are new variations on the original story.

Im a Masterclass level, Chinese combat arts Fighter. Once you master short range power... Knocking fighters out is very easy to do. One time, I was at an Open-House sparring event, at a Jujitsu school. The fighters there were being extremely disrespectful... So, I decided to teach them a lesson. I proceeded to knock out 3 of their best Blackbelt level fighters, one after the other. All on the first Exchange, as they stepped in to try to grapple me... with my mostly extended lead hand vertical fist, to their foreheads. I never used any more than about 15% of what I was capable of delivering. Each strike was also less than 6 inches worth of movement / runway. Back then, I could have done it with less than 2 inches. And with bare fists... I would have only needed a single inch (the gloves dissolve a lot of the Initial impact forces). The whole 70mph kick thing was funny. Often, they dont measure limb movements in MPH. They typically measure in Feet Per Second. As well as in "Impulse" (the amount of impact power, per fraction of second time-frames). I believe on Fight Science, that they clocked a Kungfu womans Snake Strike, at like 32 feet per second. They said it was actually faster than a Cobras strike. Personally, I have launched kicks that are faster than some people can Jab. Its virtually invisible to the eyes ability to visually detect... until its already done its job, and is half way on the way back to the floor. You can do this, without "Telegraphing", by keeping all of your mass over your rear leg.... which allows the lead leg to be completely weightless... able to be launched with your highest potentials of acceleration. The fastest of these, is a Toe-Stabbing kick (straight vector). Competition fighting (over-hyped sparring), is very little like actual barefist encounters. Besides the gloves giving the fighters artificial defensive abilities (two gloves take up nearly 1 cubic foot worth of 3d space)... and taped wrists to keep them from bucking under impact forces.... these fighters often spar on rubberized mats, to protect them as they hit the ground. In fact, I believe the actual UFC ring also has a spring based shock absorption system, to further reduce potential fall damage. In reality, if you get clocked and your head hits hard pavement... you can easily suffer brain damage... or outright deth. And some of these MMA takedowns? And ground work? They would often end up injuring themselves, trying to attempt these things on the pavement. I met an MMA fighter, whos middle knuckle was driven 1cm in towards his wrist... because he tried the old Ground and Pound.. when in a real street fight. He got on top of the dude, and punched him in the head.. but since there was no gloves, and no rubberized flooring... all of that impact force went from his fist, into the skull.. then the pavement.. and then right back into his own fist. Gave him a Permanent disfigurement... and man, was it every ugly looking. It doesnt help, that these fighters never Condition their fists... making them far more likely to suffer injury.. on even partial level impact forces. I cant speak to Dux's skills... as Ive never seen him train, teach, or fight (as such, Im not really defending the dude). But I can attest to several decades of hardcore fighting experience, as well as a lot of Jealous and Ignorant artists, trying to call me out as a liar, as well as trying to Twist my own words around. Heck... even when Ive went up against these types of fighters in sparring events... they get PISSED when they are completely shut down. One dudes face turned visibly bright red, with pure and utter rage. That particular fighter was nearly 3 times my size, if had would have been able to hit me... I swear I would have been blasted out of the 3rd story window, from the sheer mass forces involved. As skilled as many of these big name fighters are... most of them have never once, had a bare-fist encounter. Most have never fought a man outside of their weight and strength class. Most do not have any Bare-Fist conditioning. And most have never done any Iron-Body training (being able to take a heavy hit, without bruising / damages).. outside of some Shin conditioning. They have often never done any Multiple Attacker training, let alone... any weapons training. They have a seriously Over-Inflated idea, of what their actual combat skills are capable of... and if you mention such a comparison... they get Butthurt REAL Quick. Its like you are challenging their Cult based Religion. They will then try everything they can, to try to trash your reputation. That said... back in the day, when I spared some of these dudes... there were many whom were seriously impressed... and whom even cross trained with me a few times, to try to learn some of what I was teaching. Not every fighter... is petty, jealous, and close minded.

Ohh, and one more thing... About the comments about the ability to Dodge Bullets + Responses about Dropping your center of Gravity... In properly performed Wing Chun, you learn to bend your knees to the point where your knee is directly over your toes. This lowers your center of gravity.. and creates greater stability, gives you the ability to absorb various forces better (using the bending of the legs like shock absorbers - similar to downhill skiing), and also... can allow you to shift your body mass much faster. Watch the Movie "Remo Williams". When Remo is first tasked with taking out the old man (Chun)... Chun uses an almost textbook Wing Chun stance, and when fired upon, shifts his body in a slant, with pretty decent speed (for an actor that likely didnt have much training time under him). As said, its highly unrealistic to state that you could ever dodge a bullet. But its not unrealistic to say that you might be able to read the OPs arm movements, and be able to shift your head out of the way, just enough to prevent being "Terminated". 9 times out of 10... and you still might get popped... but its not too hard to believe that someone managed to pull it off, at least once.

I understand "anger by association." Police officer Zachary Wester destroyed a lot of lives. His church and his wife stood by him during his trial. It was hard not to think that there was something wrong with that church. But that's what churches do when one of their own falls. Help them go back to the light.

Although Bloodsport made Frank a celebraty, it also did a lot of damage to his reputation. The Holywood bullshit that came with it, has exaggerated and embellished the story to the point of un- believability. There are so many untruths in the movie.

Have you made any headway towards interviewing JCVD? I know you interviewed his son, and was hoping he put in a good word. (Also) Who is on your top 10 list of interviews you would like to do?

As far as dodging bullits is concerned; it's ahrder than you think to hit a moving target. I'm with Frank on this. Why do you think police are taught to say 'Don't move?' Because a moving target is hard to hit.

I like that you try to stay neutral. That's what a person with a platform should do but I just don't believe Frank and his supporters. I didn't buy what Sky was selling the first time and hearing it again just reinforces my opinion. He never actually says that it was Frank fighting in the kumite footage he was shown. He just keeps saying " a couple guys" were fighting in the "scenes". Seems off to me. Also, Frank told Black Belt magazine that the kumite was in the Bahamas but in your interview Adam clearly says "I can't confirm Frank went to Japan and fought in the kumite". Anyone who has been caught up in telling lies knows that it's hard to keep the details straight

I just found out the multiple repeated camera shot for 1 hit (in different angles) that has been a trademark for mark di salle movies is actually Frank Dux effort. (Some people dislike it but god i really love it). I used to think that is mark di salle or Sheldon Lettich thing. It goes on up to double impact...the last fight in death warant...and goes on to the blistering Perfect Weapon. Frank didnt involve in those later movie right? Ps* why u never talk about Death Warrant? That last fight with patrick kilpatrick is so awesome
@VikingSamurai Жыл бұрын
I think that was more Van Damme's idea and influence with the editing, which was prominent in his early films like Bloodsport, Kickboxer, Cyborg, Lionheart and Death Warrant.

Makes sense of he was a spy.. Esp if he was really accosiated with the real black Dragon family. The Black Dragons are alot more sketchy then some Ninja larpers. Basicly they are connected to the global intelligence/Drug trafficking Syndicate. Basicly they are the Japanese faction of the darker parts of the CIA. Just like the white Dragon/Triads ran the heroin trade in China. The Black Dragon was the Yakuza that worked with the Nazis/CIA.

Hello, Viking Samurai. I've never been against Frank, but I don't believe everything he says. I'm sure he's a beast in his own right. It's important to be honest. However, when you're like a - Ninja, Assassin, Special Ops, and protected various Presidents, I guess not. 🤷♂️ TERRANCE OUT
