The clam is otters and beavers gather trees and willow branches to their houses. Every fall they gather winter food. And they hibernate little bit too. I always see them getting ready for winter.

Dave,if you don't find beaver lodge,they are most likely then in the creek bank. It's more secure for them being inside in the ground. Here where i live they don't even make lodges cause our river streams are crazy can rise and drop for few meters. They all dig dens into the river and creek banks.

the beaver house will be dug into the bank. thing you got to worry about is the ice will not be near as thick by the feed piles have had a few things fall through areas like that.

It's totally wierd to see someone with a chainsaw and and not pulling the starter cable... 🤪😁 But that's honestly the better trail tool than a gas powered chainsaw. More reliability and less fire hazard. And more convenient than a hand saw... ✌️
