That heater air intake is great. My stock 90 gets its heater intake full of little bits of garden debris and the vents at the bottom get blocked. Some great ideas on your truck that I've never seen before. I am definitly gonna copy you with those Anderson connectors to the battery.. such a great idea!! Did you relocate your fuel filter and fuel cooler?

Brilliant Landy, absolutely love it! I have a 2.2 puma defender as well and can I ask how did you fix the Ram mount to the fascia like that? I have found the screw in the dash isn’t long enough to fix it to that point.

Lovely truck!, how are you finding the 90 as an overland vehicle, are you under gvm when fully loaded? Only ask as I plan to use my 90 on overland trips across Europe hopefully and wondered how they balance out as an overland rig? 😁

Great video! What exhaust mods have you made? I have the BAS 170 tune as well but my 110 sounds nothing like your 90.

May be worth fitting a oil catch can too. Running same tune/engine as you and when I was doing air box mod noticed there was a fair bit of oil sludge from the rocker cover breather tube feeding down through the outlet of the air box into the turbo. Think sustained low range high revs has got it there, have a look and see if you have same thing.
@jimbob14276 жыл бұрын
Mate nice 90 , how are the silicone hoses going on your turbo. ? I've got a 90 with 60000 Km's on it and I've done 3 hoses on it so far. !

A guy I was speaking to about those wheel arches told me that he prefers mounting them using rivnuts instead of the self-tapping screws that come with them. Might be something to look into. :)
@KurtCoetzer6 жыл бұрын
Ah, misunderstood your issue then. His issue was the self-tappers ripping through the aluminium. Am I correct in assuming you've tried something along the lines of washers to increase the surface area of the screw contacting the flare itself?
@KurtCoetzer6 жыл бұрын
I see your point. Something re-attachable like heavy-duty Velco (the proper 7kg/100mm stuff) would be great. I'm considering the Spectre-style arches for mine, as they seem to give a lot of tyre clearance and don't look too bad in comparison to the universal rubber strip style arches some people fit. I'd just have to keep the extra width in mind when off-roading.

Very nice. I run 35” treps on my Wrangler. Love them. Have you thought of running a t-case doubler or crawl box to give you more gearing options?
