My 300 is on 410,000 miles, still original ,never even had the head off. 1 turbo , 2 starters 1 clutch .

These are great engines, thanks for your vid 😀. I just flowed a new head for my 300 TDI, ported-n-polished, swirl polished the valves too + flowed exhaust valves leading edge. She gets up a steep hill in third now, which used to need holding in 2nd gear.

I’ve been toying with the idea of an LS swap into my 90- but the 300tdi engine isn’t bad at all- it’s not going to win any speed records but it does the job just fine.

May be a trick of the light but at 16.02 it looks like a crack in the join on the exhaust manifold, if it was I would think you would hear it leaking
