Same thing happened to me with an SUV in a very remote area, I literally shoveled for continuous 1.5 hrs all around and that actually worked to get me some traction. You should carry one too.. it might be helpful. PS- its also a good workout

even i would try to shovel the snow but it just didn't make sense here -3 degrees,blizzard like situation plus deep snow from all 4 sides,it's wasn't practical Waiting on the bed for 30-40 minutes was the right thing to do,plus it was free of cost

Watch the video again and look at his center screen you'll have your answer for one of your questions. If he had snow tires on no doubt would have gotten out. Terrain response 2 has all the off road settings you'll ever need, far more than a shitty Toyota.
