What I have settled on regarding the creative process is the first 4 words of Genesis: “In the beginning God…” I don’t know how all of creations brought into existence, but what I believe is that behind all of this is God. And God can create however God wants to. Also since creation takes up just two chapters in all scripture, I think some spend an inordinate amount of timer parsing each word and verse rather than looking at the whole sweep of the biblical narrative. Straining at a gnat and swallowing a camel?
