You can’t tap your glove as an infielder if he hits the ball anywhere on the left side , or even a few feet to the right of second no matter what the exit velocity is , and you can’t have any sort of leg kick going to the plate as a pitcher or he’s gonna steal second AND third , but what makes him different than the typical fast guy is that he’s just a freak athlete who’s only real comparison in baseball is tatis , because Elly is a guy that can and will tag up on fly balls that just barely squeak past the dirt , or steal home on a soft toss from the catcher back to the pitcher , he makes baseball fun to watch
