The reason Chris E retired as Cap was because of this. No one would recognize him for his other projects and or accept anyone as The captain America other than him(nearly the same can be said for most characters). Now everyone expects him to hold back helicopters or battle the antagonist be it an 8 year old child to a hand to hand combat fiesta. But we should learn to respect thier descisions and learn to adapt or better yet cope with the future.
