To the person that wrote the first complaint. I was able to solo both the normal and legend version of Starcrossed 3 weeks after I started playing the game for the first time. Yes I failed a couple of times but I did my research and found a build and a strategy in order to complete it. It seems that people want loot without making any effort.

I mean I work construction 5 days a week. But I’m still able to do everything needed to get all my loot. Maybe it’s just me but it’s easy to learn mechanics and builds if you just do some research. I’m able to Sherpa raids and GMs but people have the “I just need to say I can clear ads mentality”

As a top 2% player I do not mind teaching if it is what I feel like doing. I have the skill to carry a bad player or two and strategies to ease mechanics load, but often I just want to chill with high skilled players. No one is entitled to my time and if a player refuses to learn or listen to advice I often just leave. There are constant learning runs in LFG and in those runs the new player will be forced to actually participate instead of being fully carried. Outside of pinnacle PvE content the game can be played completely solo and without a mic. Barring being optimal for speeds or day one raiding gear doesn’t really matter.

The worst take of all time is "I paid money therefore I am entitled to completing everything regardless of my ability". So many people on the bungie forums seem to hold it. I go there to give the odd piece of feedback and I constantly see people saying how Bungie has ruined the game by making it harder blah blah blah. So sick of seeing people resort to entitlement instead of just realising that it's only a matter of time, a matter of practice and they'll be able to beat any piece of content.

8:10 not only can you make your own lfg and find people to learn a raid together, I would argue that it's by far the best thing you can do for yourself if you're serious about playing this game, as in, I'm going to buy expansions and potentially play for years. that's how I did my first raid in late 2018, just me, one friend and 4 people from lfg. it took us 18 hours in total to clear last wish once, but those are still some of my fondest memories playing the game. if you stick it out with other people for that long, there is an immediate connection. these people became my clanmates the day after and I played with them for years. I definitely wouldn't know the people that I play with today if I hadn't made that lfg post 6 years ago. can only recommend it for people who want to learn the raids, just find some equally inexperienced players you vibe with and there's honestly a pretty high chance that you're gonna have the best time you've ever had playing this game while in the raid.

Is it a double down if it's true??? You have to play the game if you want the loot. You can't play majority patrol every day and expect your loot to be on par with people that raid instead.
