When it comes to exploring, you can leave 2-wide sections of unbroken blocks, since you only need to reveal ome side of a block to see if it has resources. Basically, imagine cutting out rows, you could cut every 2nd layer or every 3rd layer, both expose the same number of blocks, but one takes like 33% more effort. It's ultimately a small optimization since clearing out space for efficient movement is also important but it's a fun thing I learned when searching for diamonds in Minecraft so fogured I'd share.

I feel like it would be effective to leave platforms as you dig. And as you find materials, leave them where they are and keep digging in that direction, and pick them up only when you’re retreating back to the dome. And you can use the platforms for waypoints for your resources, so you wouldn’t have to bring them all the way back each time

Hi Chris, love watching your videos. As someone who has already played a fair bit could I give some advice for efficiency. 1) leave the cannon in the center after ever wave, that way you dont have to drag it to the opposite side and its evenly prepared to go both ways. 2) the enemie entire bodies are 1 hit box, so you can shoot at the corners of their bodies and prepare to go to the next enemies, no need to shoot square in the center. 3) Always prioritise upgrading drill cause that's a big amount of time spent 4) I dont leave tunnels, I clear everything so I dont have to follow the same winding route back, but this is based on me having a great drill that slices thru soil like butter. Only leave tunnels when its realistic and has load bearing elements.

You only really need to tunnel every three levels so a straight shaft down with levels every 3 blocks means you see all the blocks and only need to dig those when there are actually resources in the middle blocks.

If you'd played a bit of Minecraft, you'd know you should tunnel with two blocks in between, not the one - you can already see what the block is from one side, so going directly alongside it on the other side is a waste.

yeah that looks like a really good game except for the price. terraria is arguably better and is half the price. maybe i am wrong about the price being too high considering i have quite a few games i paid $60 for and only played for about 10 hours whilst i can see myself playing this for at least double the amount for 1/3rd the price. keep in mind there are way more factors involved not just my enjoyment. factors like how many people made these games, how long did it take to make these games etc.

Gees Louise man, why wouldn't you spend 2 iron on the meter for when the next attack is coming. That made no sense to me. I can tell you haven't played a lot of minecraft. You should be mining more productively by mine to the right and left and then move down 3 blocks and repeat. You don't have to mine everything to be able to see if something is there.
