In leviticus, the priest and cleansing the ceremonially unclean people had to put the lambs blood on their ear, right thumb, and right big toe symbolizing hearing God's word, performing God's work, and taking it to the people. What if this is a parallel to the jews who know this habit and remaining ceremonial clean. The eye instead of the ear as a gateway to seeing evil. Both body parts affect the heart, with Godly or evil. The hands the doing and the feet going.
