Yet another banger Kgoat. I'm still in awe how fast you make those adjustments but I'm gonna do what you said and just practice the muscle memory one adjustment at a time. Thanks again for a great coaching session!
@kgoatgaming40046 ай бұрын
dood, it's really not talent at all. its just muscle memory. some formations like Big Nickel Over G, i can't make an adjustment to save my life. but dollar, dime and 4-3 6-1, i can adjust all day without even looking. just lots of reps. just practice kinda like what i described and you'll see! i promise!

@@kgoatgaming4004 Ive been practicing like you said and it really is making a difference. I'm forcing myself not to scroll to every guy and just doing my adjustments using the D-Pad and I actually am getting a lot faster with this. Thanks Kgoat!

cody!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! thanks so much! dood, i've been watching you since madden 16!! i actually bought your gun tight (don't remember what the formation was actually called back then but it was the same scheme as the gun tight out of saints but it was out of the broncos playbook) scheme back then for like $10 bucks and emailed you to help me (hadn't played madden since madden 08 at that time) and you answered IMMEDIATELY. you've been my favorite madden youtuber ever since! i was actually gonna reach out to you soon here to ask you if i could interview you (not that you'd want to be interviewed by such a small channel but figured i'd ask you anyway!). you CONSISTENTLY put out AWESOME content dood and i feel like you and i look at the game in a very similar fashion. it's an honor to see you on my channel man. seriously!

@@codyballardmadden cody, seriously man? I'd really enjoy that. i used to have your phone number actually (you gave it to me waayyyy back). i also bought your 335 wide scheme back in madden 21 and i think that's when you gave it to me (and all your clients). i recently redid my computer so i've lost your emails. how can i get in touch with you so we can exchange contact info?

This is exactly the type of video I was looking for, Is their a chart or something explaining what routes each type of flat will cover?
@kgoatgaming40046 ай бұрын
thanks dood! glad it helped. and to answer your question? NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!! hahaha! zones are REALLY WEIRD in recent maddens (honestly since about madden 17). in this year's madden for most of the year many of us have REVERSED our hard flats and cloud flats, setting hard flats to 25 and cloud flats to 0 or 5 because zones are so screwed up. HARD flats are SUPPOSED to play the FLATS (but they're super iffy) and CLOUD flats are SUPPOSED to play intermediate (not just iffy but HORRIBLY iffy). deep zones tend to play pretty well actually. but overall, without abilities, the hard/curl flats and even vert hooks a lot of times just have minds of their own and sometimes won't even cover a guy RIGHT NEXT to them. turning on match CAN help but everyone knows how to counter match coverage at this point. so there are gives and takes with each type of coverage. i really wish your question was one that i could answer LOGICALLY...and that zones actually play how theyre supposed to. that's honestly why tip videos like this one are so popular because everyone wants to find a workaround or solution to the horrible zone play. with that said, you can actually lock people down with adjustments like in this video and that's why i spent the last half of the video going over different ways to use adjustments to compensate for madden's poor coding (or maybe its intentional...who knows). anyway man, hope that helps...know it was long-winded but it's a HUGE gripe for all of us madden players...zones not playing how they're supposed to.

Great tutorial....I have one question, Why are TE's so hard to cover E.I. "Mark Andrews" (Ravens)? He seems to always be open even in Man coverage.
@kgoatgaming40044 ай бұрын
dood, probably the main reason is that TE's can't be bumped/pressed typically so they kinda get a free release at the line. hope that helps man!!!

Last question, is it smart to designate a LB in coverage on a TE who is burning you?
@kgoatgaming40044 ай бұрын
@@MrAndersonsGaming MISTER Anderson, it all depends on what type of defensive coverage shell you're running. if you're in a zone shell say, manning up the TE with a LB will still be helpful because it'll likely cause at least one or two cut-offs of "throw points" (i.e. a place where the user will likely throw the ball to that receiver...such as a quick seam streak or even interfere with a drag at certain spots). this is where that cross-manning video i did can help because you can use leverage to disrupt routes, even if the ROUTE eventually beats your defender. if you're in M2M? well, if you keep getting torched by the same guy who is being guarded by the same defender, might wanna try manning him up with a different guy. but in the end, manning 1 or 2 receivers in a zone shell can REALLY disrupt the offense and a receiver, even if you man him up and your defender gets beat because there are zones all over the field that can interfere/disrupt throwing lanes/opportunities. hope that helps bro!!

Theoretically could a person have one play and just constantly adjust to opponent?
@kgoatgaming40046 ай бұрын
dood, 100%!!!!!!! in one of my videos i talked about watching problem wright at the beginning of the year and he said "we always come out in spinner and we adjust from there" (back when spinner was the meta). i'd say about 75% of the time i come out in db fire and adjust from there...sometimes turning it into a cover2 man! i personally think it can almost be easier just because of the familiarity aspect. i've had years where all i came out in was cover 2 and adjusted it to my liking. now there are a FEW plays like fs zone blitz or overload 3 in dollar that are just super easy to come out in...but for the most part, i do ALL of my adjusting from db fire, even if it turns into mostly man.
@BDW00006 ай бұрын
@@kgoatgaming4004 I agree buddy. Keep it simple. Things are way made way more complicated than they need to be. I just don't understand.
@kgoatgaming40046 ай бұрын
@@BDW0000 totally misterydood (that's your new nickname!! LOL)!!! to me, i can come out in db fire all freagin day...and adjust SO dang quickly...i can have it turned into SPINNER within like 1.5 seconds. this way i don't have to think...just adjust. and problem wright is probably my favorite madden pro when it comes to that. he just keeps SH&* super simple and look at the success he has had over his career. im withya man!!!
