I think it’s really up to personal preference. Yes Na Yoon Kwon has better skills, with years of experiences and his songs were perfect no doubt on that. As a well known ballad singer his performances were flawless. Joohyuk on the other hand did a decent job too. Many people said that he could have chosen a better song but this song lyrics brings comfort and healing during this pandemic time. Besides this song fit his singing style perfectly. He has a very special voice tone and singing style is trendy among young people. I love both of them so it’s really a close call. The only round that I found absurd and upset was the one with Lee Younghyun. Even though everyone (including myself) is saying that this show is flopping, I still want to believe that every singer is given a chance to be a King/Queen on the show, as long as his/her song touches people’s heart (regardless of how skillful/experienced the singer is aka breaking stereotypes). I have to agree that the quality of the show has dropped a lot.

I believe it's judged fairly. It's a close fight, it was difficult for them to judge the two. Come on, stop the hate. Both are great singers.

One is clearly more vocally skilled than the other in this case. This show is meant to be judged objectively and therefore should have objective standards. Whenever controversy arises, it means the judges made a choice that most of the audience disagrees with. As a consequence, the show becomes less enjoyable for the audience, the losing singers become discouraged, and the winning singers are treated with disrespect and doubt. That is why some negative constructive feedback is not a bad thing. No singer on this show deserves any hate -- only the judges are at fault.
