great walk-through! one thing to add is that when entering the private key in the docker command statement, make sure to include a '0x' in front (as per the dydx github readme instructions)

Most DeFi protocols are Ethereum based and the recent surge in ETH transactions means you have to watch out for the gas prices. Given the number of users that are eager to participate in several DeFi projects, you should expect the gas prices to go up. Careful planning of your trading strategy can save you some Ethereum in fees. You can make use of an exchange like Anyswap that is known for its low fees, which are 100000 times lower than what is obtainable in the market. Is it possible to create bot that detect and trade the defi's token when it launch at first millisecond? I found that most of them give the trader at least 3x profit in minutes timeframe manner (if not seconds). If you found this please create the course and I'm sure the first customer of yours.

Your probably an extremely busy guy but it would be interesting to hear from you if this is still profitable in 2021 for the "little guys", someone just copying your video and making their own bot. Probably not for the little guys cause I've heard this has become an extremely sophisticated area in DeFi. I am super curious just to see how it works so I may secure some funds/crypto to deploy this anyways. Good practice I guess.

Hey Mike I have no idea :( You ll have to research if Aave has an official liquidation bot (they may not...). But the general idea is similar: a script that runs 24/7 to see if they are liquidation opportunities.

so you go through this whole speech about how you use SSH keys because it's "more secure" than a password, but then you say to give them your private key, which completely eliminates all security. Care to elaborate on that?

"give them your private key" => No, you don't give your private key to anybody. The private key is on the machine that runs the bot, i.e a machine that you control.

@@leonlatouche4289 nah, it worked once intially as my eth node had 10 transaction attempts but prior to that i couldn't tell it was working and stopped the bot then couldn't get it working. I've heard that you need a fair sum of capital to make the liquidators bot work proficiently. I've been testing out DYDX just using margin trades and you gotta pay so much on fees you need +6% Profit to offset any claim position without closing at a loss.
