I always quite like your posts. At 1:40, how do you know to select 2 surfaces when placement constraint is called a Translation Axis? You selected the axial alignment first and then it asks for another axis. Keep up the great work!

Hi, thank you for your positive feedback and question. In every mechanical constraint set system show what is necessary to select (e. g. For Cylinder is only one condition (axis to axis / cylindrical surface to cylindrical surface) if you have pin constraint system add aditional info in the placement tab. I will try to explain one more time in another assembly tutorial. Stay tuned. Vladimir

For the points, was one placed on the base and the other point placed on the plate? I can't seem to get the spring to move with plate when I try to recreate this.

Please follow all steps in the video and you will be able to crate same animation / analysis. Answer to your question: yes, one point is on the base and second is on the movable plate
