Definitely Give it a try and let me know how it turns out! Don't forget the tip about defining the curls before braiding, it really makes a difference; and also starting one wet hair. Braid Outs are definitely more tricky than Twist outs. Good luck!

How did you wear your hair while it was drying? Wig, scarf? Etc?
@RachelAdina5 жыл бұрын
Actually I made an extention ponytail with braids and put it in a top knot......now I'm thinking I should have done a tutorial for that too.🤔

MsRachelAdina yes! I feel like no one shows what they do while their braids/ twists are drying! Lol they just show up like- OK let’s take it down now!! Lol thanks!

How do you sleep on a braid out, and how long will it last?
@RachelAdina3 жыл бұрын
put it in a high loose puff and put a bonnet on; it should last for about 3-4 days tops.

I'm really sad about your heat damage and it's not even my hair! What temperature did you use when you straightened? Beautiful braid out btw :)
@RachelAdina5 жыл бұрын
I'm gonna do a few videos on store bought protein treatments and see if that will help. I'm so sad about it too, My hair is usually so resilient to heat damage. I got it pressed on high with a Babyliss pro so IDK the temperature that was used but I'm certain I didn't get heat damage from the stylist......it was me. I continually re-straightened my hair around the edges and Nape of my neck after sweating it out on gym days and I noticed that all the heat damage is where I occasionally touched up with my flat iron. ( I actually think I got it right when I re-straightened my hair for this video 😑😂) The heat setting was about (400 I think). It never fails though ever time I add more heat after an initial straightening I get mild to moderate heat damage. Take the lesson from me and DON'T DO IT!
