The shine! You have fine hair like me and you are a lot heavy handed with the products, which weighs our hair down. Maybe try it again, using about half the product amount. Kinky Curly is especially great for retaining moisture.

Your hair came out beautifully, however I agree with Rina you used way too much product for your fine hair. As I watched you applying the products I was saying to myself, she is uses too much. The good thing is that it did not flake which is a result of using too much gel. Very good video though.

Love the shine ! Yes the shrinkage is real but also a sign of healthy hair. I'm surprised it stayed the same because with the following normally it would get voluminous. I'm planning to purchase them this summer.

I love how your hair looks. I can understand the need for volume when you have fine strands. I want definition at the moment. I've used both of these products during the start of my hair journey and haven't used it since so I will be trying it again now that my hair has some length. I've never done a wash and go but this video has inspired me to do one

When you add water , it reactives the custard . If u use it again, try to just use oil to scrunch out the crunch without water added..There is a learning curve with the custard, and using a little goes a long way

My daughter has way more hair then you and use 1/3 the amount of product. The products are very concentrated. Try using less next time.
