Did anyone notice the similarities between season two and Sonic Cd? Needing to go fast to travel to different times/realities? A metal clone of Sonic? And even a friend getting kidnapped? The similarities are almost like it isn't a coincidence.

Personally I think if Sonic thought about what happens at the end at all, he was assuming the separate dimensional gates close and the individual universes exist isolated from each other. Since this Sonic is a bit more childish and naive as you say, I think he's been assuming everyone would survive.

in a since. Sonic was kind of right. in one of the last season 2 episodes. Sonic's native universe was restored just for that one second. and none of the other realities faded. Nine was probably just being selfish as usual.

The worst part about restoring the shards isn't just everyone dying, its the fact that Sonic didn't know what he was doing. He thought he could introduce Nine and all these new characters to his old friends but in reality, he'll get his old friends back but everyone else dies.

Great video! I agree with you in that people have been sleeping on thi series, and that season 1 is way better than people give it credit for. I just want to point out a few things. 1.Nine is not evil. Sure he has a goal that opposes Sonic, and he's definitely going to play an antagonistic role next season, but i think saying he's evil is a bit much. It's not like he wants to conquer or destroy the worlds. Kid just wants to be in a dimension of his own were he'll be safe. Plus as you've pointed out, there exist the possibility fixing Sonic's world will kill everyone else. If this is true then you can't really blame him for not wanting Sonic to fix green hill. 2.I don't think Sonic really thought about what would happen to the doubles. Not only because of what Nine says about the problem of Sonic jumping into situations without thinking of the outcome. But also because Sonic kept talking about having Nine in Green Hill and meeting his friends. In fact, Sonic likely still doesn't know about that, since even after Nine asks him what will happen once the world is fixed, Sonic just reassures Nine that he could love his friends. 3.This one is less me voicing my disagreement with something you said and more pointing out something i haven't seen many people address, and that is that while it's true that Sonic didn't listen to Nine, Nine didn't listen to Sonic either. Sonic directly rejected the grim in episode 6 of last season, and yet despite that he still expected Sonic to come with him, and even when Sonic would clearly say stuff about green hill and meeting Tails, Nine did not listen. Both him and Sonic made the same mistake, where they got so caught in what they wanted, that they failed to consider the others opinion.

I don’t know but I have a theory that sonic in season 3 will get seven Chaos Emeralds to become super sonic and maybe than he is going to get Paradox Prism Entergy to go from super sonic to prism super sonic and then he can fix the reality with his new super form abilities to control reality and make sure that his friends doesn’t disappear from other multiverses 😄 Of course, this remains purely speculative, but it's an exciting concept to consider for the upcoming season. What do you think of this theory?

It's definitely a kids show. I guess it does that very well. Listen... I'm closer to 30 than I am to 15. Sonic Prime is unabashedly for kids and has nothing that engages older audiences. Even My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic had elements that did that. The writing isn't clever, the plot is thinner than paper, the narrative is repetitive, the shatter spaces are bland and uncreative, and while the action scenes are *amazing* they're unfortunately used stretch out and try to distract from the aforementioned thin plot. .... So yeah. I'm excited for season 3 to cohesively wrap everything up with a nice, little bow. The themes and some of the structure are there, but the pacing is not.

Ooooh somebody's been watching Channel Pup. But yeah it's aimed towards younger audiences but I have seen a lot of adults actually say that they enjoy it. Perhaps it didn't engage you in particular but I don't think you can speak for the entire adult population. If you didn't like it in particular then that's fine, not everybody is going to like the same thing.

​​@@Dreq458 agree, one of my biggest issues was the portrayal of knuckles and shadow. You can tell that the writing team were fans of the more modern games due to the fact that it seems they had no idea what to do with knuckles character outside of make him the butt of multiple jokes and to write shadow as the unsmiling 1dimentional badass that randomly picks fights with sonic just for the sake of hype rather than give him an actual character.

@@ZanteBlitz I think Prime Shadow is fine, aside from episodes 1&2 where he's all "punch first, ask questions later". He doesn't quickly befriend strangers and desperately wants to restore his home That's in-line with Game Shadow, only now he's always constantly given reasons to hate Sonic. Sonic may have claimed that Shadow doesn't trust *anyone,* but that's just from his perspective. Sonic's own destructive actions were the sole reason Shadow distrusted him. He has yet to badmouth any of Sonic's actual friends, write off friendship itself as a weakness, or any other cliche, edgy, loner things. And hey, Shadow was right to see these variants of their acquaintances as separate, distinct people. Prime Shadow's character flaws seem to be his unhealthy way of venting his frustrations (pure violence) and his implied disregard for the lives and feelings of the shatter verse people.The latter may or may not bite him in the ass by the end.

Sonic Prime better than Sonic X? It's a sort of troll right? What made Sonic Prime so special and more better than Sonic X? No gonna lies and I gonna be straight in my words but I feel like Sonic Prime is just the new season of Sonic Boom due to too much similar common point to Sonic Boom. By start that the main characters in Boom was Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy, Sticks and Eggman while Prime characters are same but Sticks have been replaced by Rouge with her own personnality and Big is the one who replace Vector with his own personnality while Eggman get several clones of himself without forget in Boom characters can wear somes others clothes for loose their serious side for somes episode like Amy disguise as a clown or Sonic who wear half of clothes by wear a vest but refuse to put a pant just like Prime show where Sonic see his others friends with Pirate or Cyborg disguise. Plus few episode about Sonic Boom include the travels into the multiverse like the one in the Season 2 where Sonic was send into a dimension where there wasn't any Sonic but there was his friends with another personnality with Tails who working for Eggman and Sonic try to reasoned Tails or the last episode of the Season 2 of Sonic Boom where Shadow kidnapp Eggman from the alternate dimension for bring two Eggman in same place for destroy the Sonic world. So I can't really say that I feel any hype or joy about the show since it's just a Sonic Boom Season 3 show but with another producer instead be a new show who add more Modern Sonic characters just like the good old Sonic X show who was amazing with a good story and who wasn't into somes silly multivers stuff so it's sad that Sonic Prime have waste his potential when he could have been as same level like Sonic X and become one of the best Sonic show but end up to be disappointing by be a Sonic Boom-like show feeling. Too bad because the 3D, the animations and the graphics are amazing but the story look garbage and have a sort of recycled feeling like if the creator didn't want to put too much money into this show for made others Sonic characters as well like E-123 Omega, Silver, Blaze, Team Chaotix, Cream, Jet the Hawk and his team so he must have probably think in his mind that they gonna reuse the same Sonic characters 3 or 4 times with another name, retouch the design and anothers clothes than paying more voice actor and more new 3D Sonic characters models just for saved the money than use more money for made more good stuff so If it was for do that I think it would be better if he don't create Sonic Prime because if you really want do a very good stuff you don't really care about how much money you gonna spend or lost as long the good quality is here. I admit when Netflix have release a very short teaser about Sonic Prime with only Sonic and Shadow running in Green Hill and that we see Big as a cameo I was feeling very hyped because I was thinking that we finally be able to see more Sonic characters who never appear in previous Sonic anime and who deserve to appear in a Sonic show like E-123 Omega, Silver the Hedgehog, Blaze the Cat, Jet the Hawk and his team and somes others characters and, when they release the first long trailer about Sonic who end up in the multiverse, my hype was gone and I was even thinking if it was a April Jokes from the creators or something and that it wasn't the official trailer so I don't expect anything about the Sonic Prime show anymore since I know others Sonic characters like Omega, Silver, Blaze, Vector, Espio, Cream and others don't gonna be there and I just hope that the Season 3 of Sonic Prime is the last season and that there will not have any 4th season for we can wait somes years later for the next Sonic animated TV serie show in hope that the next creator gonna be more smart than the Sonic Prime creator by made something amazing and similar to the Sonic X show and by add more Sonic characters like E-123 Omega, Silver, Blaze, Team Chaotix, Cream, Jet the Hawk and his Team, Zavok, the others Zeti and somes others Sonic characters instead taking inspiration on Sonic Boom show for create a Sonic Prime show about to reuse several time the sames characters but by retouch their design 3 or 4 times and change their name just because they are lazy and want saved the money by create a story who have more the taste of a recycled stuff than a good show like Sonic X who don't made the mistake to put characters in multivers as a excuse for reuse 3 or 4 time the same characters by retouch their design several times.

That why I wonder what made Sonic Prime so special since it's just a Sonic Boom Season 3 feeling vibes than being a unique Sonic show. I completely agree man. Sonic Prime is better than Sonic X and I kinda prefer it to Sonic Boom. If it sticks the landing, the Prime will be king. This Shadow is everything I wanted from Shadow and then some.
