@snapdragoon1236 It's probably just based off of what ever filler the writer remembered at that point the time. Remember that this was made back in '07, so even though they're literally working on a Dragon Ball game, the writer probably wouldn't have had easy access to a lot of Dragon Ball material like we do today.

One thing people often forget is that Chichi's character is not as smart as she is shown in the English dub. Just like Goku, she grew up without much contact with the outside world. It makes sense why she would be a little judgemental of everything she doesn't understand. She even canonically has a country accent in the original Japanese

Yeah, Chi-chi was originally built up to be essentially "Girl, Earthling Goku" back before Z. Then Z shifted her focus on giving her kids an education, so people just forgot she's still a country bumpkin that married a guy based off of a single promise they made when they were 12.

In vanilla Z, after everyone got killed by Buu at the Lookout, Chi-Chi, Videl and Bulma wandered around in Heaven looking for Gohan (who they still thought was dead). They ran into Dabura, who had his entire personality overwritten into caring, flower-picking pacifist. He offered to help the girls look for Gohan and they all became friends. That's what she's referencing. Kai cut out all those scenes, though.

Grandpa Gohan is the old man that found Goku when he arrived on earth, hes the main reason why Goku’s sayian instincts didn’t turn him into a psychopath that will destroy earth, everything Goku is right now is thanks to him. Goku accidentally killed him when he turned into a great ape and met him again later and cried his eyes out, then met him again to tell him he got married to chi-chi, they never met again since but my head canon is that Goku visits him frequently off screen to tell him about his new adventures and powers. As you can see Goku loved him so much he named his son after him

I'm not sure if I'm remembering it right, but Chi Chi and co. meet Dabura in the Other World during the Buu Saga during a part where they're dead. When Dabura died, he would've normally been sent to hell, but it was thought he would actually like it there, so they put him in heaven instead. He somehow ended up becoming a nice guy from being there.

He then ran back and proceeded to flirt with her to get out of it once he found out who her Dad was. Also, he admitted (to Bulma of all people) to finding Chi-Chi attractive as an adult after she told him; "sorry I know you love me, but I'm marrying Goku". So who rejected who again?

I think the genius of Chi-chi is how little she cares for all the bullshit that goes on around her, she loves her family wwants the best for them and that's about as far as it goes, intergalactic space emperors, artificial lifeforms evolving towards perfection or multi-versal deathmatches be damned. She's just so ordinary and as a result her PoV is such a comedic lens to view Dragon Ball through. 9:08 Grandpa Gohan is a pretty cool character from the show, the guy is single-handedly responsible for saving the earth when you consider if Goku was never dropped on his head (hilarious to think about dropping babies as an act of heroism) and then raised him to be good it's more than likely Goku's Saiyan instinct would have led to him destroying or taking over the planet after he grew up. 13:21 P.S. I think this is DBZ filler only and not Kai (or maybe we've all just forget), but Dabura was punished after being killing by Buu by going to Heaven when he got to Other World as if he went to Hell he would be too comfortable and that wouldn't be a punishment. Chi-Chi, Bulma and Videl meet Dabura in Heaven when they get eaten by Super Buu and he's a frolicking, romantic, optimist, having changed his evil ways after a short time in Heaven. Might just be DBZ filler though.

It is possible to pronounce the word without the extra "Ee" sound, just most Americans struggle with that kind of word structure, especially at first. Personally, I leave out the extra "Ee" sound, but I do add it sometimes.

Each sound in Japanese has a different character but they also are missing sounds we make in English. They have B, G, K, R, T, S, and D sounds but at the end of each is a different vowel like Ba, Be, or Bi. And they have the vowels separate for A, E, and I into ABa, EBe, and IBi. So I guess to put it simply, expect a vowel at the end of everything and sometimes at the beginning. Also when pronouncing vowels imagine an h in there like Ah, Eh, and Ih. It's almost like Js in Spanish kind of silent.

If you want to know why Chichi hates SSJ, is because in Japan they're not allowed to have blonde hair. In their country it represents as thugs or in Chichi's terms delinquents. Also what you saw kid Goku as SSJ is a non canon series called DBGT. It was considered to be hated among fans due to its weak storytelling, but it is a good series and also shown SSJ4 Goku, Vegeta and Gogeta. It was their way to end the series at that time, until DBS showed up. Now they're considering DBGT to be canon.

That line about Dabura is referencing a bit of filler that I'm pretty sure was cut from Kai. Basically king Yemma thought that since Dabura was the Demon King he'd probably feel nice and at home in Hell, so he figured the real punishment would be to send him to heaven instead. I guess a couple hours in heaven really mellowed him out because the next time we see him he's a total sweetheart
