There is a ton of humor to be derived from Dragon Ball. Sure, Dragon Ball Z was more serious and focused on the action, but the OG part of the story was heavily into the comedy. Remember, Akira Toriyama was a comedy manga artist first, before getting into the martial arts stuff. He loves making people laugh.

We got a suggestion for how to watch the first 28 episodes and are doing it that way which has proven to been fun so far. After 28 we are going to do all filler episodes and watch the whole series straight from that 😀

There’s only one scene that’s executed better in the show than in the movie beside that the Super version of Resurrection F is notorious for how shoddy and rushed it was.

While it's true it doesn't ultimately affect the story, the episodes did a much better job of making a certain highly anticipated rematch look worthy of the power levels of the characters involved. The movie version of that rematch looked as weak as the Raditz fight.

3:32 The presentator and the people who open Mr Satan's limo door are Pizza (the redhead), Caroni (the blond) and Pirozhki (bald, bearded guy). They were filler characters in the Cell Games section of the story, and they were Mr Satan's martial art students. They were very involved in all the parts of the Cell fight, but you dont know them because you saw TFS's version. Here is why. TFS, and more specifically KaiserNeko, hated just how often these filler characters stalled the progression of the story, that he singlehandledly went through ALL the sceenes where they appeared (which was every scene where Mr Satan and Jimmy Firecracker where together) and edited them out of existance. Later, he added this trio as papparazzi, rivals to Jimmy Firecraker's news station, who flew in with a helicopter that was promptly destroyed by Cell, thanks to the power of editing. And probably for KaiserNeko's satisfaction, Caroni's burnt body was shown falling off of the helicopter. (Also its funny) KaiserNeko wanted them VERY dead. Cadaveriffic, even.

The only thing worth mentioning in the B.O.G. anime is that when Goku & Beerus fought, the shock waves from their punches almost destroyed the universe, specifically only 3 punches. You probably knew about this fact already since Death Battle brings it up a lot. If you're wondering how the universe is still intact, Goku figured out how to cancel out the shock waves by positioning his fist in a certain angle compared to Beerus'.

I always thought it was unfair how Chi Chi told Goku to return to work and stop fighting. Even if Goku did make another 100 mil through honest work, there's a high chance Chi Chi will spend it all again. Just because she saw Goku fight instead of work, he's punished by sleeping outside and going to bed hungry?! That's just cruel.

I think y’all should actually watch the battle of gods episodes of beerus fighting goku because the fights in the episode are way different then the movie it’s not the same at all . The episode have better feats of power from both and it’s got a lot more funny moments while there fighting. Y’all should probably watch it just to see how different it is from the movie . @@Mari_Izu I watched the Original Dragon Ball & DBZ when they came out in my language, I have seen DBZA more times than I can count and I watched the entirety of DB Super in both sub and English dub. All of that despite the "humor". Something I can't say about stuff like One Piece, where I gave up after 4 episodes ^^

the titles get VERY spoilery down the line.. Theres a MUCH bigger payoff if you dont hear or read it and just see what happens instead of them just telling you before you get to watch
