@@DJC327passed on BTJ and Quinyon Mitchell just to name a few players, didn’t bother making any major FA signings in a loaded off season, defensive draft picks are consistently “good-not-great” or a downright non-factor, pays his guys that “he likes” and basically communicates to them that there’s no consequences for their underperformance, no sense of urgency to win or anything in the culture that he’s a part of setting. Gus Bradley was trash but Ballard’s persistent mediocrity is at the core for why Bradley overstayed his welcome to begin with

Cone on Derek and Cody lighten up a bit. Preseason estimates were fir the Colts to be a 7 or 8 win team. We pretty much hit that mark. I’ve been a Colts fan for fifty seven years thats back when Rosenbloom owned the Baltimore Colts. When Bob brought the Colts to Indianapolis I stayed with them. We long time fans have seen a heck of a lot worse. Some of the mist pitiful teams of this franchise were when Jim was the GM. An old proverb says “a fish rots from the head down “. Our Colts will languish in the lower quartile of the NFL as long as Jim Irsay owns this team.

I've been a die-hard Colts fan for 25 years. I remember being teased for my Colts hat in college in Missouri. I remember years living in Texas, surrounded by Cowboys and Texans fans. And now as a Tennessean, having everyone ask why I'm not a Titans fan. Throughout all of it, I held firm to my love of the Colts. My fandom will NEVER change, but my interest certainly can. If Irsay isn't interested in improving, I guess I'll just have to turn my attention to my "backup" NFC team for the next year or two. Never thought I'd see this, and it's enormously disappointing.

I've been a Colts fan since the sudden death Giants game in the late 50's. I suffered thru the last few years in Baltimore, but those teams were trying their best and I still loved them for it. Another fun fact is that Chris Ballard is the first GM since guess who, Jim Irsay to not have a winning record as a GM. Lastly the colts haven’t had a playoff drought this long since 1988. The colts are an embarrassment and I never dislike the colts more than I do now. I’m a fan that attended every home game in 2011, 2017 and 2022. Ifykyk. AR wasn’t good this year and I’m not trying to say he was but the fact that you guys act like he like it’s just all on the leadership and AR is insane to me. I watched every Colts game this year as I do every year and while I wasn’t happy with everything that I did to say that he wasn’t a positive on our team this year is insane. The amount of drops I saw from everybody tight and receivers big name guys no name guys like I just think it’s insane to put it all on those three guys when the supporting cast around AR did really no favors for him whatsoever and again I’m not saying that he was like Josh Allen, but to act like he didn’t have any kind of progress which I think he did And to not have a little bit of upside towards him y’all are just trying to be negative. I follow both y’all for a long time on Twitter. I love y’all‘s content, but maybe you guys didn’t watch the same games I did because the supporting a cast around AR was a lot worse in my opinion than AR. Also, a lot of people that are jumping ship on AR are also the same people that I saw tweeting and praising the ceiling that he has in the potential he has but then like it took Josh Allen three years to be decent like the first couple years people were still questioning it third year was like he’s gonna get it figured out and he figured out a little more fourth years when he had his biggest jump so for a guy that’s had what 17 starts or like 18 full starts in the NFLand less than 40 probably his entire football career at a high-level. I think everyone needs to chill out on AR and focus a lot more on the developmental team around him and is supporting cast.

I haven't missed a game since 93, and it's cost me a small fortune because I live in California... I don't care how bad the team sucks I would never renounce my team... the problem with this team is we don't have a QB... Colts fans are use to having a QB that's top 5 and have been spoiled... Stafford should've been a Colt no matter what the cost was... that team was a top 10 QB away from a SB run, and they let it slip away... then we have the 4th pick in the draft and instead of moving up to the first pick for an NFL QB Ballard let Frank Reich stick it to him and we end up with a developmental QB... Ballard liked love but didn't go after him either... the problem with this franchise starts with Jim Irsay... Cody and Derek were defending Ballard 2 years ago and now they're mad... 😆

Is it really a surprise? Irsay's health is failing him rapidly, and his daughters are not ready to run this franchise. Objectively speaking, if Irsay isn't running the day to day operation because he is very I'll. And if his daughters are not ready to run the Franchise, that leaves Ballard with the keys to the kingdom, he is more embedded in this organization seeking comfort and familiarity than a tick in an elephant's ass. The only and I mean ONLY reason to retain everyone, is because Irsay desires Comfort and familiarity in this miserable stage of his life, he can't deal with anything more than his illness, but he has to let it go to somebody else he trusts other than Ballard.

Keep in mind “winning changes everything” and the nucleus of this team isn’t a “bust” as of yet. This offseason we will be able to discover the extent of AR’s injury, if one truly exists, as well as pick up a couple of key positions in the draft and definitely grab a couple of free agents that are willing to come to Indy. Zaire Franklin and his crew will have a new DC and I suspect it will bring the reckoning that is warranted. Remember we were only 2 wins away from winning the south with the effort this year. So I’m optimistic;)
