For correction, the bubbles formed inside the liquid water stream due to low pressure locations are not air bubbles, they are steam bubbles.
@praveenkumarb.h38117 жыл бұрын
actually water flowing from high pressure on line...there is ristrict if we placed a valve...by placing of valve which high pressure of liquid is dropped due to control valve and that oly we are saying flashing...after pressure drp the water flows through another end on that time the bubbles was created and collopus with water,due to this action the outlet line of contol valve damag.hence it damage outlet line that is caviation. my doubts:- 1.how to avoid this problems...

I was reading a textbook about the vapor-liquid equilibrium and I came across this line " When the partial pressure of component in a gas mixture exceeds the vapor pressure of that component, condensation will occur" 1.I dont really get what this sentence is talking about, isn't the partial pressure of a component the same as its vapor pressure ? 2. And why the partial pressure exceed the vapor pressure of the component, condensation will occur ? Can you give me a clear explanation and a clear visualization please?

Sir ,why at low pressure air bubbles are formed.??
@majedakhan74926 жыл бұрын
Because of low pressure... Water's boiling point decreases and it starts to boil... This results in bubbles formation.. (those bubbles don't have air in it... It has oxygen and hydrogen gas)
@navodayatuitionclasses37064 жыл бұрын
When suction pressure false below vapour pressure of system fluid then it gets evaporated & form bubbles collapsed which causes cavitation

You are wrong by decreasing pressure .. vp will not change it will increase with increase in temp. And ⬇with ⬇in temp wrong video at that time rate of evaporation = rate of condensation at the equilibrium state
