I am 52 yrs old and have loved Def Leppard since I was 15 yrs old and have seen DL 6 times in concert. Not once did I notice how truly tall Joe Elliott is until this video.

I'm 60. I ran n2 the band n 89 at dfw airport. I was surprised how tall he was. I'm 6'5" n I looked him eye 2 eye. He signed my atlas map. Soooo looong ago....

@@dataquester That is so great. Yeah I googled it so Google for sure could be wrong. I've never met JE in person but I am 5'11" so I would know instantly how tall he is. Ahh yes, 1989 seems like yesterday but yet so long ago. My first time seeing them was in 1988 first row at 16 yrs old. Back when you waited all day to get first row general admission and then ran like the wind to get up front! Good times, good memories.

Ahh Joe Elliott is 6’ 0”. I think that’s what I read about his height. Also he’s not the oldest in the band. Phil Collen is. He’s in his mid 60’s. Joes was born in 59. Savage was born in 60. Allen was born in 63- the youngest of the boys. And I think Viv was born in 62.

I was at the Philadelphia concert, and it was the absolute best concert I've ever been to. I am a teenager, and my parents introduced me to older bands and this type of music, and I am glad. Older music is 100 times better that newer music.

I also love when Joe and the guys do there "Captains log",It's absolutely amazing to listen to them just about everywhere they go!! I just saw them for my first time on July 27th 2024 at PNC PARK!! IM 56 and it also like many others have been listening to Def Leppard since I was 16 in 1983!! Posters on my bedroom walls covering the walls!! I have the so much respect for these men! They have stayed together as a band, friends, brothers however you look at them through all these years!! They still to this day put on absolutely incredible performances!! Love from Pittsburgh❤

I'm 61. I've seen them 5 times. Their music had a huge impact on my life. I made life long friends through their music that I still have to this day. My 36 year old nephew is named after Rick Allen. (Richard). Rick Allen is and always will be my favorite member of Def Leppard. I think he is the most handsome man. ❤❤❤ I remember seeing them on American Bandstand!

Def Leppard best band EVER and still rocking! 🤘🤘🤘 I, as a Canadian had the Union Jack up on my wall with pics of the band, especially Joe ❤ all around my room. Ticket prices were way cheaper back then! I sooo want to go see them again! I recently broke my back. So I barely have a cent to my name, otherwise I'd go in a second! Was at the Hershey show and it was my first time seeing Def Leppard. Must see show! Absolutely one of my favorite shows I have ever seen. This was also my third concert that week seeing the likes of Tommy James and Frankie Valli. Awesome show!

The show on the river that Phil is talking about was the Nashville River Stages (5/3/2003). It was a weekend-long concert series the first week in May from 1998-2004. Even better than that (IMO), we had Dancin' in the District, where a bands (including big name) played in that spot every weekend of the summer. I saw a lot of good shows there! Back when that kind of thing was possible.
