the year 2000 is really far away from now, it was so long time ago, that year still belongs to the 90's. So it's normal that Joe looks so young there. And his voice is better, not like today. In 2000 everybody was pretty young.

Saw them on that tour I believe night before or after in Spokane Washington at the dog race track standing on straw to keep mud off our feet. I’ve seen almost every tour and some multiple shows and at this time in their career they were far from the big stadium gigs but I had faith in their talent that they would be on top again. Loved them since 1981 before all the chics found them
@lindatimmons3675Ай бұрын
Yes unfortunately those chics can ruin a guy like Joe or any of the guys. And years later they get a paternity suit or find out they have a disease. It's dangerous but they are adults and can make their own decisions and face the consequences if there's any. I've seen it happen. 😔 and it didn't end well. But yes it happens.

@1kydde2 heh yeah, but I think he looks more like he did in the Pyromania-era, early 80s. Just check out the performance I uploaded recently of Let's Get Rocked in 2000, or Andy's video of Promises from the same show.

Slang was awesome but released in the season of Nirvana and not a big hit but they were never pinned down by being catagorized ie hair band, grunge, pop etc and back in 1981 I knew they were special! Still have all the albums, autographed stuff, shirts, picks, backstage pass, big box of stuff I informed my son (he’s 32) is his inheritance! 🤣😂
@lindatimmons3675Ай бұрын
Oh cool. It's so awesome that you've been able to see them often. I live in a part of Texas that dosent get any kind of concerts and I'm not able to travel to the closest town which would be probably Dallas. Or one of a very few others. But oh well it is what it is and I REALLY ENJOY their backstage scenes and vlogs etc. At least I can see them that way. ❤😊💖💞💙💙

Good frontman. Ego, yes. I really wish he would not slam PeyeWillis. Joe is worth tens of millions. Took DL all the way to the top with his vision.Getting rid ofPete and even Steve to a point, ok. Why knock someone who is not on your level and no where in your world.
@jackdixon29jd3 жыл бұрын
He wasn't slamming Pete or Steve. It was Pete who was a great guitar player and the backbone of Lep in the early days but he couldn't just couldn't handle his alcohol and it has a massive detrimental effect on him so they had to let him go. Exact same thing with Steve although slightly different because they gave Steve a 6 month leave of absence in late 1990 so Steve could try and clean himself up but it never came to be as he died in January 1991 and he was meant to come back just over a month later. But it never happened.

Cannot put blame on the rest of the guys. Each one is an individual adult and can make their own decisions, but the consequences may be highly costly. JMO

"We realized that either we had to change with the times or die" I love this band but that's the dumbest thing I've heard from Joe's mouth. Slang is where Def Lep really messed up.
