The software name is DEFORM. The DEFORM system is finite-element analysis (FEA) software developed to simulate metal manufacturing processes. Applications include cold forming, hot forging, rolling, heat treatment, machining, mechanical joining and material modeling. Computer simulation provides a "virtual" trial run environment as an alternative to costly and time consuming shop floor trials.

Great software. We had DEFORM at one time here. At the 50sec. mark, its interesting that you use 2 dies every time? What is the reduction in area in each pass? thanks
