As a pyrotechnician and hardstyle lover, this brings tears to my eyes! The pyrotechnics are perfectly and beautifully choreographed to the music, and I am sure thousands of hours of hard work went into this from probably hundreds of talented people! God damn, who is cutting the fucking onions in here!?!?

tbh there are soo many mistakes in the pyro that i dont think its acceptable anymore for such big and long existing event. there were a total of i dont know 5 or 6 big mistakes in the firework that they tried to hide in the video here (watch a cellphone video of it then you'll also see those). I was there standing relatively in the front and you can see at the end that the stage is burning on the left 'wing' and i remember someone with a fire extinguisher ran across the stage. music is also meh the anthem, 'children of drums' and 'one' kind of ruined it. nevertheless the bass modulators song was sick also ghost stories. that is the only critics i have. i will still keep on going there :P P.S endshow 2019 doesnt have any big mistakes, only the timing was off by like 2 seconds (which was also fixed in the video)

@@freshdumbhd239 the fire problem is not that strange, it is a quite packed stage with a lot going on and only one test round the thursday before. And the tracklist was not that Early, at most they had 3 months to prepare. And that is for 2 different evening, if take that in account then those mistakes can happen.

@@freshdumbhd239 they make use of pyro companies so its out of hand of the organisation itself, evreything goes off at the good moment except some pieces of pyro probably due to an fault in the detcord or connection of it, but none the less i agree with u, they prob use another company in 2021 after 2years (18/19) delay fails in thr pyro :p

@@MRIRONLAK jup, they also ignite the batteries from both sides and when one side doesnt ignite (electrical charge prob) the one battery is off and fires longer than the other ones and example for such mistake is visable in the 2017 zaterdag endshow headhunterz - destiny. Of course they just external companies but lately idk they dont do such a good job. 2019 firework was okay and had only minor mistakes (timing was off yes) but i'd love to see more actual firework not only comets (the things that just fly without any explosion). crackling firework = love

I also appreciate how at 17:43 they have the fireworks timed to explode right on the beat where the kick stops for a moment. Perhaps it's just a minor thing but given how long the fuse time on those fireworks was it's great that they got them like perfectly synced in that moment.

I think they didnt cut it out but you can see that they kept zooming in a lot and if you look closely in the background at for example 3:26 you can still see the fireworks going off. On the livestream you could see it really clearly but they did a good job at trying to fix it.

i would wait another week for 4k. the quality difference is enormous in my opinion. Did they actually only film it in 1080p or just uploaded the 1080p version now and we get the 4k version in a few weeks?

Ginkoman2 It’s up to q dance. I’m sure they will have 4K videos for next year! But don’t forget there may be 4K for Defqon 1 Australia, Q-Base, and Qlimax. And whatever this year’s new year event will be.

so they actually said that there will be no 4k footage for defqon this year? seems so weird that their biggest event has the lowest qulaity aftermovie :/ I get that the live sets etc are in 1080p and that ok, but the edited aftermovies and especially the endshow? I dont know man, i hope Q-DAnce will release a 4k version later :DDD. Is there any statement from Q-Dance about this topic?

Last year the endshow was up at the 28th of june thats just 4 days after the endsow. and it was in 4k. this year it took nearly 3 weeks for 1080p. I know this year we get all the livesets, but still. Im just kind of disapointed :P i just really looked foreward to see this epicness on my 4k tv xD
