Thank you for this. I tied one of these for my wedding today and was complimented left and right.

Can this tie knot be done and then removed easily and be able to wear it again without the hassle of redoing it again?
@defragmenteur80810 ай бұрын
This is one of those knots that consumes a lot of the tie and leaves very little leftover on the thin end. If you're lucky (or have a smaller head than me), you may be able to release the thin end from under your collar and loosen the knot just enough so that you can slide the whole thing over your neck without undoing it. I usually have to untie it though and redo it again next time.

Thank you for the video, I think this knot is super pretty and I plan to use it. I have a tie with a pattern that I don't think this knot will work with, as a pattern will make all the layers of the knot melt together. But i have a lovely more plain tie that will be perfect for this.

That's a great idea! This knot can look quite busy. A plain tie will balance things out very nicely 👍

Is there like a certain type of tie to make this knot?
@defragmenteur8082 күн бұрын
I used a standard tie in this video. The length of a standard tie is 58 inches. This knot does use up a lot of fabric though so a longer tie (say 63 inches) would make things a little easier - though it's by no means necessary for this knot.

The Eldredge is one of those knots that consumes a lot of the tie and leaves very little leftover on the thin end. Perhaps try positioning the thin end of your tie slightly lower before commencing the knot. A little trial-and-error usually helps to find that sweet spot 👍
