Downloaded this yesterday and did all the cleaning and checking as per the video. Then later on I recorded three programmes to ADM and none are showing up in Explorer. All of my apps are still on the external hard drive but it looks to have wiped out the ability to record to the external hard drive.

It would have been downloaded from where you recommended Tanya because I am confident in your abilities to trust what you say. I ended up having to format the external hard drive and start again. Virus Total allows for false positives. If any engines detect something, Virus Total weighs up the potential risk. If it deems the app to be safe overall, it gets a green tick (safe). DefSquid does not do this. DefSquid will identify any app that has more than 0 detections as unsafe. Privacy rating shows low as it is a free VPN so you are most probably not connecting to the most secure VPN servers. But that is OK if you are just streaming and using a VPN to unblock your location. It's strange when I use Analiti speed test it says I have 220 Mbps. When I use Defsquid Speedtest it says I'm only getting 55. How do I know which one is the accurate one?

I used to have same issue, after updating all apps on my Nvidia Shield TV I can now accurately get speed results, just wish we could change the server test location like in the regular Speed Test Okla app.

I have used several. So the Analiti is wrong. I have used the one my isp gave me and others speed test and all are the same. So Analiti is wrong IMO. I have my computer and cell phone close to my firestick and running speed test from them show the same thing. Ditch the Analiti as I will. Why have a app that does not work right and taking up space.

if you are getting mixed results, try a few different speed test apps and most of them will be the same. Any speed test that is giving you abnormal results is the one you want to stop using. Thank you for watching 😊👍❤️

I really like the part that tells you your VPN is working. Best to do a restart after you turn it on and do a restart of your firestick. My VPN did not show it was working till I did a restart of the firestick. Now I can turn off my VPN then turn it back on and it showed it was working or was not working. It would not scan the Pluto app as it timed out for some reason but you can get rid of that app. I never used it anyway.

Great little app. Installed it on my 3 Fire Sticks and my Amazon Fire tablet 10". One thing I noticed is that the options under 'My device', when using the app on my tablet, don't open to the associated settings areas like they do on the Fire Sticks (no biggie though). And it would be a good enhancement to be able to ''Force Stop' selected apps all at once instead of one at a time (but again, no biggie).I really like the speed test option. I have multiple WIFIs in the house and I can see a different spped when testing each one. Thanks Tanya.

Thanks for this Tanya. I've installed on both my 4K sticks now and absolutely love it. I'm finding though that there is a great disparity between the speed test results on this app and Analiti. Not sure which one is the more accurate of the two. I've also removed a few single purpose apps, as suggested 👍

Amazon 4k max has the ability to WiFi 6 However its backward compatible and your new firestick should connect you through your current router. WiFi 6 is coming forward as a standard but don't worry to much your firestick will work out of the box. Hope that helps

@@FireTVSticks I have wifi 6 since they just put in fiber here in July of 2021. What I had before was Frontier in the country with only 1.5 mps.....lol Could not even have a firestick with 1.5mps. I now have wifi 6 with 100 mps at the same price. Am so glad they ran it here in the country. Changed my life thats for sure. I think the 4 k max is made for wifi6 but will work with wifi 5 just as easy. I have both the 4k and the 4k max and I could not tell the difference between the 2.

No, as mentioned in the video, you can take a look at more details and view the results to make a decision if you want to keep the app or not. If the % is low, I wouldn't worry.
