Wonderful that Bharat has done so much better in terms of military modernisation, research, induction of new equipment, weapons, vehicles etc in the 2014-24 period than in the 2004-14, sincerely hope that we are able to overcome the remaining issues like delivery delays by PSUs etc by incorporating private collaboration, & also improve upon our other capabilities like Engine tech, & other advanced tech areas. @@internationalhitman4114 not much ahead if you have followed rus-ukr war , the most advanced weapons used included irbms only 1 by rus to send a message more than anything else( developed in 1950s and 1960s) ,drones , tanks and normal stuffs plus boots on grounds and 150-200km precision missiles, man-pads etc just few supersonic and 1/2 hypersonic just as demonstration more than anything else . You don't understand the basics ,beyond a point increment curve stagnates till the next big leap, in real world quantity is a quality in itself.

The operational cost of an F-35 is approximately $35,000 per hour, making it one of the more expensive fighters to operate. Meanwhile, the SU-57, while a promising next-gen aircraft, is still relatively new and undergoing testing, which means it hasn't yet reached full operational readiness. On the other hand, the Rafael fighter has been thoroughly tested, and our pilots are fully trained and prepared, ensuring we are ready for any battle.

We can't put a price on national security. Rafael fighter planes are 4th generation only. The only 5th generation fighter aircraft that can stand against Chinese 5th Gen fighters are the F-35s

AMCA can be a continuum..144 F4 Rafales are much needed, right now! 100 billion over 5 years, is 1.7 lac carore each year should be invested in new tech, TOT and purchases for all 3 services. Defence budget should be 100 Billion USD min each year from current 72 Billion to keep the forces fighting fit and top of their game.

Experts in the French air force have admitted that Rafale is currently outdated in comparison to the fifth generation. The 2032-35 introduction of the Rafale F5 standard can contribute to a certain level of parity with SEAD capability. Although the F-35 is a very capable fifth generation aircraft, it cannot super cruise. However, India has already acquired an S-400 from Russia, so I doubt the Trump administration will make it available to us. As for SU-57 felon, it hasn't flown with their fifth generation engine yet. Fast-tracking GaN Aesa, Super Sukhoi, OMCA (to maintain squadron strength), CATS warrior program MUM-T, Ghatak, AMCA, partnering with a foreign OEM to manufacture 5th/6th gen engines, upgrading tanker and AWACS fleets, satellite constellation surveillance, powerful ground-based radars, etc., is, in my opinion, the only viable path forward. Regarding MRFA, the IAF should either implement it this year or end it permanently. Do not import J-20i(s) with India-specific enhancements, please 🤣🤣Adarniya Kadi Ninda Babu 🙏🏻🙏🏻
