Chino has since grown up and taken much better care of his voice since the days when he would party all night, do no warm ups and just go scream his lungs out... he realized thats his instrument and he needs to take care of it, hes actually pretty healthy today as far as his voice which is why so many people collaborate with him, its such a unique sound

from what i know, he's never been able to hit the high notes in digital bath, but i watched a performance from 2016 and he hit them almost perfectly; he's definitely improved

@@daddy8914 there was a live video on youtube from white pony era where he hit them perfectly, but imo Chino kinda sucks live and is ether off beat or off pich or makes this stupid inhale 'scream'

@@iconofsin1043 There’s moments live where he can pull off some crazy vocals but for the most part he’s definitely waaay looser with his performance on stage than in the studio. He puts way more of an emphasis on his stage presence and getting people engaged than how well he’s singing. It’s fun to watch him jump around and hype up the audience while other times I just want to see him be as tight as everyone else in the band is

Me too! I'm not a big fan of the high pitched shrieks he started doing around the self titled album onwards. The old screams were more primal and raw.

The First Riff of the song, the intro, the heavy guitar riff, its just four staccato chords. Anyway, Stephen Carpenter played it during rehearsals, and someone said, "That sounds something like Max would write. "[Max Cavalera from Sepultura] So, the song was called Max, as a working title, and it stuck. The "A" was dropped from the title for some reason, and now we have "Mx," well at least that's what I read a while back.
