I still can't believe Chi is in a coma! I knew this guy when I lived in Sacramento, I used to see him and his girlfriend often and we would chat about music and his band...I didn't know he was in a coma until a mutual friend of ours posted something It's really sad..

We really pay nothing for them to record, pay to other dozen people who work for and with them, make tours, and for them to pay their own bill$. As long as they make great music and take out new albums, im glad to spend money on the deftones. I love their music and buying the cds its a way to say thanks to them.

from mexico. espero chi se recupere y pues estar bien , deftones sin el no es lo mismo pero ahi que apoyar a chi tal ves comprando alguna de las camisas o algo así , de todo corazón un simple fan de deftones espero todo salga bien para chi y su familia e seguido a deftones hasta donde e podido verlos tocar mas que nada a estado unidos y Canadá , recuerdo a verlos visto en san Antonio Texas donde antes de empezar a tocar chi nos regalo unas uñas espero de corazón que se restablezca.

Bands are lucky if they net a dollar a record. Deftones have never sold more than a million records (White Pony) there last record hasn't sold more than 500000 split that between 5 members and they drop a record on average every three years. Deftones have said that they make there money touring and via tshirts...so don't be shy about donating to Chi for 20 years of some of the best metal!

It achieved platinum status on July 17, 2002, selling over 1.3 million copies in the US alone. It sold a bit over 2.000.000 if you count worldwide sells.
