@Renulph Idk hes improved immensely since there whole "dark ages" the mid 2000's, but I think Abe keeps improving on every single record they do. I would say hes been improving a hell of alot lately.

@QOTSAPT I understand what you're saying, but Chino was never a "normal singer". He's one of a kind, that's why nobody can't make a decent Deftones cover and without him Deftones would be just a "normal" good metal band and with him they are magic :)

@QOTSAPT I agree with you man. Deftones would be nothing without any of the other members. That inclueds Sergio, who added a style all his own to the band's new material. That and he looks like Eazy-E. It just seems like that because Chino is exploring his own universe when he gets on stage and sings.

@BewaretheCherryWaves Not since then, I meant since Adrenaline, or even before Adrenaline. The other band members said his voice sounded like Gomer Pyle when they first started - that's pretty bad, haha. Not to mention his lyrics have improved a lot and he contributes on guitar.

there's more to pulling off a song live than playing it note for note. there's a performance aspect that would make capturing the emotion of this song harder than playing a more technical song of theirs.
