This song invoked emotions I didn’t know existed or how to feel at the time. But I remember it made me feel like I was immortal. This was my love song to all of the girls I was going to love. I cannot believe it’s been 20 years. Back in the year 2000, 20 years prior (1980) seemed like an eternity. Today 20 seems like it was gone in an instant. I’ll be listening to this song when I’m 80 probably having this same thought again-“Where did all of the time go?”

@@herniagaming In my view, the lyrics create a haunting and sensual atmosphere, blending beauty with something darker. The imagery of water and the act of bathing suggests intimacy, but the undertones feel unsettling, as if something tragic or violent might be happening beneath the surface. The song feels more like a meditation on power, control, and desire rather than a straightforward narrative about murder. The ambiguity is key-Deftones are known for mixing romantic and menacing themes, and in "Digital Bath," this tension is what stands out to me. It could be interpreted as a metaphor for emotional destruction or a dangerous relationship, where the line between love and harm is blurred.

my heart just skipped a beat when i noticed above they are playing in my city on May 22, 2022. i don't know if I'll physically be able to attend but i'll move heaven and earth to try. this band has pulled me through more than I can tell, suffice to say i love them. The music is everything, Chino's voice is everything.

Me at 16 laying in bed in the middle of the night, watching the stars over the desert behind my house. Being alone didn't feel alone with Deftones in my headphones.

Joshua Reyes No, it's actually because the song that makes me bothered. It's better than sex because it can put you in the mood for sex any time.

My strongest memory of this song is a -27c walk to (middle) school in Tapiola, Espoo, Finland at 7:30am(ish) some time in January 2006. I was too chicken to use Limewire at 13 to do it myself, but my good friend (to this day) burned White Pony for me onto a CD I listened on repeat for aaages back then. Don't worry folks, I already owned Around the Fur and the Self-titled, but allowance only goes so far '¨:D. This album is the anthem of teenage hormones bubbling up for me - the first crushes, the first "love", the first heartbreak. At 31 I've yet to see them live, but god I'm gonna cry through the whole set whenever I finally see Deftones live.

Great post. Saw them once. My coworker bought my ticket. I spent most of the show baby sitting him because he got too wasted. This was 2000 ans they were at their peak. Cheers from 🇺🇸

At the 1:29 mark you see the Houston skyline. Such an awesome melody.
