I may be using the same companies product's to build two fire place's in my 1800's built Scottish house, as I cannot find any imperial reclaimed rustic/weathered clay common bricks in the area of Dumfries & Galloway..

First time I had done this but being confident in myself I just looked at it like tiling,

That was quite painful to watch. The title says "Brick slips made easy" Soldier courses finish at each end of the window and shouldn't run past. Should have set up a trestle to work off instead of going up and down a ladder (You must be fitter than me) Timber supporting batten should have been installed from the start. I understand this was your first time using brick slips so apologies for coming across as negative.

Well thanks for your comments, there is a lot of older buildings near me were soldier course do fly past, a soldier course can run as far as you want anyway, no rules. plus the lintel also went past to that point, it was a cosmetic repair nothing structural. Also like I indicated I wasn't sure about the grip of the adhesive, but ha ho, hindsight is amazing though isn't it. And working of the ladder was fine, I must be fitter yes! Anyway thanks Peter.
