Both versions are phenomenal and I don't want to compare. Just want to share that Defying Gravity Performance of Stell was done after a set of songs including Gento that has a heavy choreo and medley of their ballads wherein Stell has a lot of crucial parts. Yes both Mori and Stell are the best vocalist of this generation and we are so blessed to have them.

I love Morissette. Before i became an SB19 fanatic, it's Morissette 's channel that I've always been watching but, I like Stell's cover. His voice is just phenomenal. I think he didn't change the pitch from the original. He performed it with such amazing power, clarity and conviction.

Hirap icompare because different gender sila and female key ung song and so high at that so may edge na si Mori dahil sa make up ng voice niya plus her register is so high na din for a female belter so she can play with the vocals more comfortably. Hence her version vocally speaking mas may edge ke Stell. However, Stell's version gave it more emotion and connection without compromising his vocals. It connected with me more, almost made me tear up. Different setting din sila, Mori sa studio set up, mas raw... ke Stell concert hall (tho not musical ang set up) kaya mas buo ang effect. Both are exceptional in their own right (and gender). Mas in awe lang ako ke Stell kasi mas maraming female belters than male. And even fewer belter can deliver clean high notes consistently. The Philippines is blessed with these 2 talents!

Are you serious? For your information Stell did his version of the song after their tiring choreos. Imagine singing Defying Gravity right after singing and dancing in Gento, belting in ballads (Tilaluha/Hanggang sa Huli). And he is a man. Hands down I'll go for Stell.
