Majority of poker players have felt Joey's pain at some point in time. Obviously you have to win flips in major tournaments in order to have success that's just the way NL Hold Em is. Fuck, idk what it is but there is something about this video in particular that just triggered me. Watching them eat breakfast at the pokies made me realize just how sad casinos must be, like I instantly got a rush of just how fun it must seem when you're on a gambling holiday, pushing it to the back of your mind that you are in fact feeding the business. Like I've never had enough to go to a casino for much longer than an hour or two, but the aesthetic just seems so tempting - the luxury, the joyous tropical atmosphere, the possibility of getting lucky - I would so easily lose so much money at just the pokies alone. At the end of the day, you are paying hard money for a holiday inside pretentious hotel with the possibility of coming home broke and frustrated and the lesser possibility of coming home with ill-deserved winnings. Don't get me wrong, got nothing against gamblers and would for sure love to go on a holiday like this, but I really feel for heavy gambling addicts because I would definitely get sucked into that mindset in which you just can't think clearly anymore, you just have to gamble, anything else is just way too hard to even be considered.
