Glad you at least committed to getting him. I used the 300 paid and Astrius came out which i needed but then my "luck" was so shitty it was like watching an umbrarays pull video, all vcs. Such bullshit lol.. Anyways had to pity Mont, but I also maxed him to lvl 140 in 1 hr as well lol easy.

Last I knew with Mediena's challenge board, you actually have to aquire her shards a bit to get to the last couple of boards. I had to grind for a while in metals to do it IIRC.

Can anyone tell me lore about ashen king mont? What happened how did he become the bad guy

Sure! So during one of the Sadali intermission chapters there is a part of the story where in his flashback he keeps going back in time and trying to figure out how to stop the realmscorge with gilgamesh, amelis and Exia. Every time they go back in time they create another timeline. So in one of the timelines they go back and convince Mont to join them and that causes Leonis to go after Mont and "Kill" him. However everyone thought Mont was dead but he actually survived. Mont, Kitone and Volke (Lilyths brother. Lilyth actually died in this timeline) survived and started traveling through different universes and timelines via some Warriors of the Crystals stuff. Eventually they hook up with Oldoa as well. After that the Mont from this timeline just becomes bad. So this is an alternate timeline Mont and not actually the Mont we know from the main story.

I actually fully expected the pity I was just really bummed that I didnt get any more Apoc units since now I might never get those units since the returns are usually really weird banners probably not worth pulling on. Unless they have like a selection banner those work but there is no guarantee plus that could be like a year+ away!

Its possible but either way since I'm such a main earth player this character is probably way more important for me than anything in FF7AC so I think I made the right choice here. That is insanely lucky that you got him on a free ticket so grats on that.
