A prepubescent girl almost getting raped by a cyber-stalker is a pretty heavy way to start a series. These writers weren't playing around.
@eurogirl1008 жыл бұрын
Karlee Craziness I'm not saying it's not important. I'm saying that teen shows usually start off with semi-light high school drama, and then lead into these issues. The Degrassi creators hit the ground running with a two-part special featuring very raw subject matters. It wasn't the wrong thing to do, it just wasn't something you saw often in the early 2000s, especially if you were watching it in the US.

They wanted to bring back high school memories. I wonder if Simon or Alexis requested the song “we can’t look back”. They should’ve had that rock song playing from the graduation party and wedding reception. Looks like they’re still the same. At least Allison seems more respectful towards Joey. I never liked her. I wish they showed more of the old crew more often in these series. Today Snake is the only one left in the New Class Series

One of my favorites episodes. I started watching when around 7 or 8 I was so scared for Emma. This show taught me so much growing up. 💜💜💜
