Both characters screwed up royally with girls. They're both bad boys and they both kind of play guitar. But Craig is a much better character than Zig. Jake was definitely one of the best actors, along with Dylan and Munro, to grace the screen of Degrassi.

I wish the writers didn't try so hard to have Zig come off as this brooding bad boy. The troubled ex-gang member persona just doesn't lend itself to the actor. Ricardo seems really self-deprecating and dorky (in a good way), and I think his character would be likeable if the writers tried to write Zig in that direction rather than as this hardened guy. I think that the awkward skater kid thing from his first season worked for him. The douchey tough guy thing doesn't at all.

I think that's the idea. He's a nice dorky guy who has to put on a tough persona. I feel like they've been letting his edges round off a little bit. More joking, more dancing, etc. Which makes sense as his character gets older and more comfortable with who he is.

adding onto it eli craig and miles all had a problem with drugs they were all quick tempered they all got a girl 1 year younger than them pregnant and they all started off like being different craig with his father eli with the hearse and the first interaction miles ever had he's smoking a joint
