Whats funny is, I think this show actually DID shape his behavior IRL. As Drake, he is all about loyalty, keeps his old friends around him from before the fame, gets them work on his label, has them tour and stay with him, etc. I wonder if he would have been like that had he not played this role as _that guy_ for so long. It would be completely natural for you to start absorbing aspects of your character when you are so used to faking that during your developmental years.

As someone who has it, as you get older you learn how to cope with it better. I’m a full functional adult and I don’t take meds anymore. I learned how to deal with the hyper in ways throughout the day. But I know plenty of adults that stay on their meds too. It all depends on the person but either way, you grow up and you learn how to live with it just like anything else.
