Degrassi writers did a bad job with her story. Shes supposed to be some kind of popular mean girl, yet never once actually had any backing outside of Anya, briefly. She never had any real popularity at all. So what was her claim to ever be the "mean girl" in any realistic way? Other than just angering everyone, which of course, isolates her more? What basis does everyone have to act intimidated by her, and why did Mia spend so much time desperate for her approval? For that to be valid or make even the slightest bit of sense, she would need to actually have some kind of power base. The whole thing was half-assed.
